Which is the greatest PR disaster from Ford?

Screwup ≠ PR disaster. The launch has sucked for a multitude of reasons. If diffs start exploding on maintained dirt roads that may be a PR disaster. If Broncos start veering off the road uncontrollably that will be a PR disaster.

Normal issues and complications with launching a brand new vehicle are not PR disasters. Not in the middle of a supply chain crisis.

Hardtops and the rest isn't even close. Webasto and the incompetence of Ford has essentially screwed this launch for the vast majority of folks who want a hard top 2021. We ordered these things a YEAR ago and it very well could be this time NEXT YEAR before many of us who even reserved in the first week get their Broncos. It's absolutely absurd and almost laughable at this point.

Sure but it skewed from PR into people believing the PR, flaming balls and self entitled concern about so called unimportant delays. So yeah a whole lot of ridiculousness.

Maybe, you missed the part of the poll, where it listed the Pinto as one of the options. That brought those deaths right into the mix. The douchebags, who are crying over every little inconsequential thing, while ignoring shit like burning bodies (which were brought into this in the original post/poll), all have fucked up priorities. At no point will you ever convince me that Webasto fucking up the tops or the minor inconvenience of a few delays are anywhere near the "PR disaster" that the Pinto bursting into flames was.

Not really. The wording in those statements left wiggle room. There isn't really an economic and production reality that would allow Ford to satisfy every single reservation holder, before selling any vehicles or earlier orders to the greater public. The commodity and production line constraints alone are going to stress that situation. Ford wants to keep reservation holders happy, but they also don't want dead zone dealerships, and the general public laughing their way out of the dealership, when told to wait another year behind some reservation dudes. There will end up having to be some reasonable balance to the situation.

So, what you're saying is that the real disaster is the state of b6g's members' reading comprehension and their inability to apply logic when evaluating the situation.

You ordered these things a couple months ago, knowing full well that there were issues with the hardtops. Webasto's issues have been bandied about, on this forum, since before the opening of the ordering process (not a YEAR ago, but a few MONTHS ago).

Well, I'd say some folks took the reservation thing way too seriously, like etched in stone ten commandments seriously. And it was never going to work out that rigidly.
