Have them little ones climb in the back seat bro!My thought exactly, then my wife vetoed the 2 door because āwe will be taking the grand kids with usā.
Fido wonāt fit in the back if you are driving around with 5 people and the doors in the back. Youād be better off with the 2dr and leave the doors at home so thereāll be room for mans best friend.I love the 2 door but they made the 4 door look right, I like that I can store the doors and front tops and drive around with them 1and I get storage and can take 5 of us on a vacstion, and put the dog in the back
I am convinced that people buy the 2 door because they can't afford the 4 door and its better than nothing.2-door because it looks badass. I'm still convinced that anyone saying 4-door looks better is just coping with the fact that their spouse vetoed the 2-door.
Iām not 100% certain thatāll be the case down the road. Generally speaking, niche vehicles hold value better by their rarity, and the fact that the 4dr is so plentiful I feel will work against it as it pertains to value do to its mass sales and future availability. I just traded in my 04 Ranger with a V6 and manual transmission and it was sold before it hit the lot simply because of the MT being more rare and desirable than the automatic. Time will tell I suppose.4 door will hold value better as it will be more in demand. Even here on an enthusiast board the take rate of four door is higher put that out in the real world and folks will opt for the ease of extra doors even more. I also look at Jeep Wranglers for which I see about a 4 to 1 ratio of 4 door to 2.
