While filtering through people who feel the need to be heard that they never have a scenario where this affects them, I'm following for the actual info to address the issue (for me).

Ok so on a 22 badlands, this rear door handle swipe works to unlock ALL doors....(doors locked, fob in hand, swiped rear door handle to unlock all doors)

21 FE it does not work....must hit fob button.

@flip is there part number
difference here between 21 and 22? If not it must be a forscan change???

Anyone else wanna test this and add yr, spec and if this works or not.

I'm guessing ALL broncos were SUPPOSED to work like this, but a big portion of them had this turned off from the factory...

Ford should start offering bounties like other companies for finding there programming flaws.

Are you talking about the keyless entry feature? There're 4 antennas located around the body to pick up the FOB signal which is why you can unlock individual doors or by touching the front handle or rear swing gate. Could be nothing more than cost savings by not putting the touch sensors and additional wiring on the rear doors.

I don't see why some models/yrs work and some dont....

Can confirm that my 22 BRaptor and 21 Wildtrak, both lux package, do not unlock the doors from the rear handle. Front doors only

I guess I'll compare the forscan code between the two...

For those that don't work, it appears to BROKEN or disabled...

Then just hitting the unlock feature on the fob as you approach the vehicle solves that issue.
As for me, I wish the real hatch had an optional swing direction. In my case opening right to left would work way better for unloading the back while in my garage. More then likely, they have the gate opening left to right for traffic safety reasons.
Oh the Broncodaire model. Interesting idea.

Was thinking about this yesterday. May have to add some wires in the door, through bulkhead and tap into the front wires OR wires coming from the rear handle forward. Guess it all depends if the handle physically fits in the rear doors and how much of a PITA to do the wiring.
I think it must be a code change?

Totally bewildering ...
Note that page in the manual says the TAILGATE unlocks. Does not say all doors unlock with tailgate.

My Focus RS, GT350, and Bronco all ONLY unlock the trunk when the trunk is opened. That's how they're supposed to work.
