getting a 4 door and calling it a 'Bronco' is as nonsensical as buying a 4 door sedan and calling it a 'Charger'. Everyone knows it isn't real unless two doors, just a badge job, but people buy them and pretend. Pretend real hard.
Kinda like pretending (or trying to forget) a WRX isn’t just an Imprza?

A 4-door has many pros, but they would only apply to small fraction of my uses. Benefits of a two door are less substantial, but apply each and every time I leave the driveway. ...or just parked in the garage for that matter.

The main reason is the longer the wheelbase of a vehicle, the more I find them to be a chore to drive. Short wheelbase vehicles are a blast!

... but the 2-door purists have no sense if humor.
The joke was definitely missed here. Ha. The 2 door purists that say the 4 door is "no fun" are actually the ones that are no fun. I can make any vehicle fun.

Lighten up dudes. This was a joke thread for one. Two... Everyone likes different things and had different priorities. If you don't "get it," you think it's "no fun," or just didn't get the joke, then you are probably the one that is boring.

Just be glad there’s a 4 door option available. Otherwise, I reckon there’d be no Bronco at all. (Check out Jeep sales figures for 2 vs 4 doors as a point of reference.)

All those guys snickering at the 4door. You do realize everyone else in the world thinks your buying a bronco 2. A guy at work said hey you buy your truck yet I replied oh I reserved a bronco he said oh ya I heard they brought back the bronco 2. So there’s that

Or a Porsche Panamera isn't a 911 with a front motor.

There definitely wouldn't be. Everyone is buying 4 door Wranglers. I hated the 4 door Wrangler when it came out; but now they are the best looking Wranglers when built with a decent lift and 35s or 37s. I think Bronco will be the same...but that 4 door needs at least 35s.

It's not even an option for me. If they sold it as a 4 door only vehicle I wouldn't buy one.

I think I'd be more concerned that you think everyone in the world is your one coworker.

This is why I’m getting a 2DR. Traded in my ‘96 ragtop Wrangler for a 7 seater after I got married. Alimony ends in June 2021 - perfect timing and apropos!

I like the look of the 2-door, and can make it work in my life. But to each there own is what I say.

I'm currently in a 4 door Wrangler, but with 2 door envy. 2 kids in the backseat, and a decent-sized dog (65 lbs) who rides in the back. There's no way he fits in the back of a 2 door Wrangler... but the 2 door Bronco, on the other hand, is looking like a possibility.

Side note: I wish that with the introduction of the JL, Jeep would have given the 2 door version more of an LJ (TJ Unlimited) look with regard to the space in the rear. Either that, or Small (traditional 2 door) /Medium (LJ) /Large (4 door) models, haha.

I don’t get the have to. I don’t have to get a 2 Door I want to. 5 years ago I probably would have had to get a 4 door but my kids are grown and out on their own. I also have three other 4 door vehicles one of which will likely get traded in on a late reservation 4 door, depending on how everything works out with the early reservation 2 door. Anyone saying they have to get the 2 door probably should take a good look at their life choices.

Less doors to take off and store!

The 2 door just looks better; better proportions, the 4 door is too long.
