If this keeps up there is no way they will build the rest of the reservations this year.

Thought someone said " Oh, it will be a FULL year of production" I think the part they left out was full production is only 100 units per week.
They produced over 50,000 units in 2021.......a half-year of production.....a ramp-up first year of production......working out the kinks production. There were supposedly 120,000......to maybe 150,000 converted reservations. Even if they produced 50,000 units every six months like they did in 2021, how can they not get through all reservations? Doesn't compute. They'll get there.

You're assuming reservations are evenly spread across dealers, which they aren't. You're also assuming all of the Bronco's produced are for reservation holders, which they aren't. It'll be at least another 2+ years to get through reservations until Ford changes how they prioritize them.

Because they aren’t building just reservations. There are walk in orders at my dealer who got vins and build dates within 2 weeks of ordering.

Each time that happens a reservation holder gets pushed back further. Throw in the allocation model, and if your dealer sells enough walk in orders then a reservation holder will no longer be in the dealer’s allocation for the year.

It does not compute because I was joking. It was to be more to the point that the algorithm can "schedule" for a whole month. But then "parts constraints" push that month into 2 or 3 months. So then the "parts constraint" has to catch up. Things just keep getting push further back and further back. Hence the 100 per week (joke).

I have to remain lighthearted as I watch '21 reservations converted to orders and get build dates, while my reservation (exact same build) from Aug of '20 just keeps getting pushed aside. It can be frustrating so please forgive my jest as I am just trying to cope with the whole EFFED up situation. 😁

They’re building with parts available. If that means only 2.3 big bend 4 door soft tops then that’s what they’ll make, eating allocation at your dealer, so when they have the parts for you your dealer is already out of allocations lol

I’d rather they schedule with the ability to stay on schedule rather than the clusterfuck shit show we saw from them last year. As the company who invented how every other car on the road today is manufactured, Ford should be utterly embarrassed by their performance with this vehicle launch. Covid issues be damned, other car manufacturers haven’t shown this level of gross incompetence.

If I was their Board of Directors, Farley would be kicking rocks.

I’m early 60’s, so you got me beat by about 12 years. Glad to see some other mature Bronco owners on here. Have fun out there!

2) I bought Ford stock in June in (since nixed) anticipation of X Plan savings. That stock is currently worth over $2,000 more than I paid for it.
I also bought in for x-plan and glad I did! $5.06 per share to $24ish!

They built 10,000 in December including the slow down with the holidays.

Agree. 10,000+ built in December according to their published data and I’m sure they had shutdowns, folks on pto…
