I have a reservation that has not been converted to an order. I'm torn between the Everglades vs HOSS Wildtrak. I really like the Everglades, but I'm not a huge fan of the snorkle. What are y'alls thoughts?

Yeah honestly if those are the two choices it would easily be the Wildtrak. Especially if you’re not feeling that snorkel.

Isn't the Everglades limited to the 2.3L? So if you're wanting the 2.7L, your decision has already been made.

Everglades just seems pointless to me. Unless you want the Desert Sand color specifically ... which is okay, I guess - it just seems stupid.

I love my HPR Wildtrak, would have liked the new HOSS 3.0 but this is not the end of the world.

I originally ordered a Outerbanks, but converted it to a Wildtrak.

The longer you wait to order, the longer you wait to get a Bronco. Get the order in and make changes later.

Order banks are closed for 2022, except for the HOSS WT, the Everglades and the Raptor. I didn't get the invite for the Raptor, so I'm deciding between these 2 for my other reservation.

I haven't read up on the Everglade, because I have no interest. But isn't the snorkel basically what makes an everglade an everglade?

So if you're not feeling the snorkel....

Nope
1. Factory Winch 2. Factory Snorkel 3. Unique wheels 4. Squared fenders/flares 5. special vented transmission and transfer case 6. 12" screen on mid-pkg 7. unique color 8. 3+ inches higher water fording 9. quarter inch higher clearance 10. only trim with roof rack included 11. unique grille - Not for everyone, but definitely for me (after I peel off the hideous everglades sticker LOL).

Edit - I drove a Wildtrak at Off-Roadeo btw, it was the exact same as my Base Squatch but with ugly interior, so yeah, unless you get the HOSS-3 for an extra $2K+, you've just wasted $10K in my opinion.

they are totally different builds. One has the 2.7 mandated, the other the 2.3. One is built for fast desert running and the other has extra long breathers for the diff's for slow watery locations. Same thing with the winch, desert runner has no use for it. Your cross shopping on looks alone it sounds like, which is, of course, all Kool and the gang, so embrace it, you like the color scheme of one over the other? Go that way.
