Yes, at this point it is - but the question kept coming up as to what those who reserved specifically for MS (like yours truly) are supposed to do given that. The suggested answer was "it'll show as late-avail." Which seemed strange, because why would a '21 order guide show '22 content? The answer: it doesn't.

I will gladly eat hat and STFU about all this if Ford simply communicates a clear way for me to turn my reservation into a manSquatch.

I think it’s good news that the black leather option for the First Edition is late availability. Hopefully that means it is unique because otherwise if it was just the same as the badlands why would it be delayed?

If I'm reading correctly the 4.7 axle is only available on the Sasquatch or manual Badlands.

Edit: it's listed on the accessories document for $1800. Not free like the B&P said.

Am I reading this right that you can order Base and Big Bend with the advanced 4x4 transfer case, it looks like you can. Yayy.

If this is true, i now have to rethink my trim level choice.

I believe that the Advanced 4x4 requires/includes that axle and rear locker. You can't have one without the other.

Thanks, if that 4.27 includes locker and Adv 4 x 4 that's a win for me, I was willing to pay the $795 just for the locker. Makes the decision to go BB over Basquatch easier.

EDIT: I just went back to B&P, when 4.27 locker is selected Part Time 4x4 remains. When auto 4x4 is selected it forces you to Sasquatch, so I guess I still don't know.

what exactly is the "paint protection package"?

Clear film that goes over the front of the car to prevent stone chips. Really helpful in preserving paint but I’d rather have a shop do it that’ll likely use higher quality, self-healing material.

Looks like the hope of the 4.7 axle ration on the non-SAS Badlands automatics availability has been officially squashed. I was pretty sure it was a B&P glitch....but was still hopefull.

It looks like it’s available as an option for a few hundred if I’m reading it right.
