Looks like the adaptive cruise control might include stop-and-go and lane centering now as well?

This throws a wrench into things. Was really excited for my Big Bend 2.7. I've got a few questions for ya'll to help me decide on next steps.

My main wants were:
  • Affordable (as possible, hence the Big Bend, but OB is looking close in price.)
  • 2.7l engine
I read that being in CO at altitude, it takes a hit in performance and I should consider 2.7. Also have intentions of towing.
  • Mid-package
  • Tow Package
  • Hard top
  • LED signature headlamps (excludes Black Diamond)
  • Marine grade vinyl (excludes Heritage)
Few questions for ya'll:
  1. Is there a noticeable difference between 2.3 and 2.7?
  2. Is it mainly an acceleration factor or will I be able to tow more with the bigger engine and axel ratio?
  3. Are there big constraints on Heritage edition? It's looking pretty attractive right now with the optional 2.7, stock hard top and sasquatch, but not if it's gonna take 2 years.
  4. Do you get any performance improvements with sasquatch? I'm gathering it's mainly better clearance for off-roading and a more aggressive appearance.
Thanks for any advise! Looking forward to resubmitting an order today.

Not if you wanted a manual transmission, only way to get mid/high/lux with a 7mt was to order a badlands.
I'm on the BD and adding manual still removes mid. I think there's a glitch on B&P

does the MGV include the wash-out floors on BB? The rendering looks like it does, but that kinda kills the Black Diamond unless you want the 2.7

Ok - done with my build

4Dr Black Diamond, Velocity Blue
2.7L Automatic, Automatic 4WD
Mid Package
Hard Top, Roof Rails
Hoop Steps
Floor Liners (without Carpet)
Storage Bag (2nd Row Panel
Keyless Entry Pad
ESTIMATED NET PRICES
= $54,545

Assuming it will be closer to $56k with the Automatic 4WD and Keylpad options that are bugged and not showing on B&P.

Heading to the dealer in a half hour!
FYI: Hoop steps are not rock rails, if that is something you care about.

Unless it's a glitch it looks like its working to have 7mt/mid on a big bend, not working on the black diamond. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a glitch allowing it on the big bend.

I'm not going to lie, the 24' options are kind of a let down. No new paint options, no A4 on BB, No 2.7L on BB, $500 increase from 23' on the price to upgrade to 2.7 for BD. Getting less and less attractive with some of the changes imo.

Not sure when it changed. Part time 4 wheel drive was standard for the 2023 model year. I upgraded my OBX to the full-time system that included the rear locker & 4.27 gears.
I think that might be where I was wrong. The rear locker on the OBX made the 4A standard. Whereas the rear locker on the BB still kept the part-time 4x4 transfer case. I forget that some build their Bronco without the rear locker when available. IMO, a rear locker should be standard. Even when it is optional, it should never not be added. I get that Base buyers were forced with the open rear differential and had no recourse other than choosing the Sasquatch package or moving up to the BB to "choose" the rear locker.

that makes the BB a bargain. I read the MGV description and it includes wash-out/rubber floors too. Add the rear locker and you have a 23 Black Diamond with a 12" screen for $3K less than the 23 BD

I doubt this is accurate. Probably just another B&P mistake. But hopefully it is true, because that would make retrofitting 21-23 Broncos with IACC much easier.
