Hello guys,

Today I just noticed the Bronco pulls to the left when accelerating 1/2 to full throttle only when on 4A/4H... Is this normal? If not what should I check for?

Thanks!

when you view the power distribution graphic on the driver's console,
do the green bars for the right and side match under half to full throttle?

is there a significant crown on the road you're testing on?

Being extra cautious, You can double check alignment… my guess would be that even though the drivetrain is “symmetrical” in axle lengths there is still some torque steer, which is most likely the case here

Can anybody please check on their bronco if it pulls to the right or left on hard acceleration and 4A/4H engaged?

This on dry straight pavement, 4H should not be used in dry pavement and turns.

Thanks!

Not normal in 4A. Check tire pressure & alignment. Bronco is underpowered so torque steer not likely.

Tire pressure is the same 30psi on both fronts.

Wouldn't alignment have the same effect on 2WD and 4WD?

Thanks

Do you think that power distribution graphic displays real data

Only pulls when front wheels powered. In 2H the behavior would be tire wear or drift. It could also be other drivetrain or brake issue, but less common so best to check alignment first.

Swap front tires to opposite side and see what happens.

i've seen some pretty interesting displays of power distribution when in a rental escape starting up on glare ice, so maybe

do you get the same behavior if you drive down the same road in the opposite direction while in the same lane?

or does it pull in the other direction?

do not try this with other traffic on the road!
(or if cops are observing)

Yea I had this at first. Ever so slight pull to the left in 4a. Don't know when but it stopped.

Your rigs track perfectly straight on 4WD?

(or if cops are observing)

Truck has 1,600 miles and just noticed it...

I pulls always to the left not matter the road condition or slant.

Its very slight you have to release the steering wheel and it will only pull slightly as in it wont turn the steering wheel all the way, just a touch to the left.
