Our FCTP was built on 6/16 and isn't here yet and can't get an answer from anyone why. My assumption is probably hold due to MIC top issues or huge transport backlog. Tell your dealer you'll pick it up when you get back from travels, they won't sell it.

Ford didn't force you to chose your dealer. You chose your dealer when you placed your reservation from a list of nearby dealers that Ford suggested based simply on your ZIP Code. You could have changed that dealership choice by transferring your reservation to another dealer at any time before you converted your reservation to an order.

This is what you call a very high grade problem. I have a 7/13, 10:50EST timestamp and still have no idea when I will be scheduled, nor do I have a VIN. So, I consider you to be one of the lucky ones. So, congrats to you.

Ask your dealer. They'll know better than the forum. No one here will have an answer for you.

go to your dealer. speak with the new car sales manager. have him look up your specific order and see what he can tell you. I just left my dealer. I spoke with the new car sales manager. he confirmed that my Bronco is scheduled to be built the week of August 16th. He also showed me where it is in line to be be built on Saturday August 21st. I read it.....

So what did the dealer say when you told them you'd be traveling in August and unable to pick up if it comes in? The FIRST thing I would have done is talked to the manager there and asked what I needed to do prior to leaving town. What did they tell you about being gone in August that makes you think you're screwed?

This is beyond "first world problems." This is... this is like royalty complaining their bathroom is too small. Just call your dealer and work it with them. Even if it is built, and will be delivered the second you are out of town, they should hold it... and thank you for having one on the lot during that time.

dude, do not listen to anyone on here, I just returned from the plant and I can tell you they are moving steady, the team is laser focused right down to the cleaners. If you have a VIN # you have hope!!

You just need Luke Skywalker now.
