Thinking of getting the Badlands with 33" AT tires as my daily driver.
Then buying a separate set of bead locks with MT tires to swap out when I want to go crazy off road.

I'm confused...
  1. If you configure a Badlands with a 2.7? and the 33" MT tires... The jump to Sasquatch is only $805.
It seems like selecting Sasquatch on a badlands trim, only needs to add rims, tires and the 4.7 rear end.

    Question:
Is the lift & under-body armor the same on a squated and non-squated badlands?

  2. If you configure a BL with a 2.7? and the 33" AT tires... The jump to Sasquatch is $2490.

    Question:
Does selecting 33" MT tires do more than just rims and tires?
FYI, Badlands without Squatch has more suspension travel than with. I think it's 10mm, but not positive.

10mm I believe, 1cm, so about 3/8 of an inch and pretty negligible IMO. 10cm would almost be 4 inches.

We’re all done talking about this man I’ll show you 35” tires on a badlands very soon!!
We've seen it, on the Overland concept with 34.5" KM3s and Fifteen52 wheels. They rub, most likely because of the 0 offset wheels.

I don’t think anyone mentioned the crash bars. They will likely need to be removed to for the “35s”. I am not a fan of removing them and hopefully they can stay with a 255/80/17 that is a potential winter tire for me. Inwould also mention that many peoples idea of “fits” and mine is different. If a tire rubs or makes the vehicle substantially different in performance, it doesn’t “fit” for me. 35s on 3.73 gears on a Jeep with the 3.6l? Do they fit? Sort of, but not for me, they are ridiculous from a driveablity perspective IMO.

The crash bars are removable maybe bolt on, in the pic it looks like there’s a bolt threaded in there, here’s some pics of a sas badlands with the crash bars removed along with the bumper end caps!!

Interesting, I was talking to one of the bronco drivers at the event in TN, he said Ford only had restricted the up-travel and work on the offset to make the 35's work on the BL... no changes to lift were needed. I assume that is why you can have a BL with 285/70 MT's and bead lock rims then add a Sasquatch package for only $805... (its just the tires, similar rims and 4.7 gearing).

Do you have a link with some specs I can research. If there really is that much different, it would be better to order the sasquatch and buy after market 33" AT tires and wheels.
They did restrict the uptravel on Sasquatch (10mm). They also lifted it more. The shocks are different (pics have been all over here with different part numbers and the reservoirs reversed.) I also personally measured a Badlands sitting right next to a Sasquatch BD. The BD had more lift from hub to same spot on fender.

This is not how tire sizing works.

Riddle me this: How tall is a 315/85r17?

85% of 315 MM

edit : I had posted this as a riddle without reading all the way through. For the record it it 38" tall.

Why are people in here talking about tire widths as if they indicate the height? E.g., "315s".

Here are some 315s that are 27" in diameter:

LOL... this would be a whole new trim level for people who the Outer Banks did not go far enough! Could be the "Hollywood". Would include these tires, a lowering kit and underbody (multi color) LEDs
