Do any vehicles have fingerprint readers either on the door handles or ignition button? Similar to a phone. That would be interesting and a way to avoid keys/fobs etc.

You do not need the factory remote start to do that. Every Bronco will be able to be remotely started from your phone is you download the FordPass app. It is standard on all Rangers right now.
Stick shifts too?

I'm probably down with that route as well. Pending the cost of the Sasquatch option. One possible fly in the ointment, would be if Ford only allows certain colors on the base models. Hope that is not the case. Has anyone seen mention of color options?
I think two colors won’t be available on the base

Me neither. just was hoping for a first.
A lot of the newer sports cars know the gear or neutral position the shifter is in.

Do these wires have Ford Performance stamped on them? Not wiring the shuttle here. Either way, I hope to be getting them too.
It’s more complicated than you think on modern electrical architecture. I’m not around Fords everyday, but I have been around GM’s for 20 years -the days of cut and splice are over.

I believe I read somewhere....can't dig it up right now...that the aux switch option has the wiring all prerun from the switches in the overhead to the fuse block so that's were you'd make your connections. Should simplify things quite a bit.

You should be able to use the keypad to unlock the doors even with the key outside the car, and since the base comes standard with push button start you can just leave the key in your pocket the whole time. Great way to avoid having to upgrade to a higher trim for easy access, even if you do have to press a couple extra buttons.
