Someone on Facebook photoshopped this... THIS is why we need a base manual Sasquatch. That thing would be a BEAST with the crawl ratio manual

Going Base, if the Sasquatch actually doesn't come in manual hoping I can at least spec in the lockers and transfer case everything else will be done by yours truly. But starting to contemplate if I should bite the built and accept an automatic. Color wise I like antimatter blue but want to see velocity blue pictures.

I've been pouring over the specs. The highest trim I can stomach is the Black Diamond. From what I know today I could go three ways:

1.) Base - 2.7, w/auto, Sasquatch Pkg., HD Modular Front Bumper, Aux Switches, Apple car play (hopefully this is a stand alone option);
2.) Big Bend - 2.3, w/manual, optional rear locker, D Modular Front Bumper, Aux Switches, Apple car play; or
3.) Black Diamond - 2.3, w/manual, no options.

Each has its pros and cons. I could live with either trim as configured. The Base would obviously be the most off road worthy with the bigger tires, lockers and bigger front end. All depends on price I don't rock crawl or need front/rear lockers and 35's but it would be sweet.

Fear not fellow Base reservation holders, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on all Bronco trims.

Aftermarket for remote start and heated seats would be a pain in the ass
More interested in keyless entry and the keypad to get in if you don’t want to bring your key. Are those standard on the base?

Usually tow packages include hitch, wiring, maybe improved cooling, certain gear ratios and maybe suspension tweeking. I would bet the 3500 is what any Bronco will tow and once they get it all figured out there will be a tow package including some of these items pushing it to 5000-7500, at least on the 4 door.
And just to add to this. I would expect the wiring to be plug and play especially for the aftermarket. Wife's jeep didn't have towing package, I added hitch later on. All I had to do was plug the new wiring into a plug a little bit above where the hitch went. I imagine Ford will have something similar.

i wasn't worried about that.
It seems a few people were. The spec site is terrible right now. We really need the Build & Price to go live.
I was worried. The cd player in my Escape no longer functions, and the radio is spotty. The cassette deck works fine, and I can listen to music on my phone, but one of the creature comforts I want in a new ride is to be able to listen to music or a podcast on my phone via the vehicle's speakers. Plus using Google Maps or Waze and not the car's Nav system.

Yes, I still have cassettes.

I heard that and have been trying to confirm. Where did you see that?

I hope you are right. On my E70 X5 it was the same story - I installed an aftermarket Curt hitch and the car was prewired for the hitch harness. What worried me a bit is that Base did not even have Towing Package as an option. Can ford really leave out the wiring for one model? Or standard wiring will suffice? Hmm

That's weird, but might also explain the huge price difference between 2dr and 4dr models compared to other trims...So 4dr is locked out of manual huh....and laj.texmuk confirmed no rubber+drainplugs option for the base. Bummer.

Starting to get the feeling that Base is going to be targeted for fleet sales. ?
