Looking for modifications that gain HP. What are the combos used to get there?

Just put premium fuel.. you'll gain like 40HP which is way over what you would get with any muffle/cold air intake you may waste your money on.

Checkbook or Credit Card = Raptor !! 😁

Realistically if a person is wanting significant power increases just get the next step up from the factory. It also helps you really decide if you need more power when you start looking at the price increase. Spending hundreds and thousands for 30-40 hp plus risking your warranty often times is more risky in MHO….

Good Luck however you proceed or decide.

If a person wants more power, it's incredibly subjective how they get it. There is no realism behind it.. other than the need to spend more money.

I would like more power than my 2.3 makes stock.. but trading in and adding another 50k to my payment for a raptor is just ridiculous lol. Spending <1k$ on one of those piggyback tuner jobs that 'leave no trace' in the ECU when I blow it up and bring it to the dealer for repair is much more reasonable.

Moving from a 2.3 to a 2.7 seems like a no brainer tho if HP gains are what one is after. I think that’s what was meant by “next step up from the factory”.

Is there any proof any cold air intake does anything but make the engine louder? The factory intake is already pulling from the nose of the grille.

Nitrous.

For “seat of the pants” feel smaller diameter tires or swap the differential ratios.
