Just got my Bilstein 6100 shocks installed on my Badlands Sasquatch. I used the highest circlip location and love the outcome!

Install was not bad, probably 6 hours total. I recommend to do the fronts first since they are a bit harder. The rears are a piece of cake.

Since the springs are more compressed at their natural position, I was expecting the ride to be more bumpy. But it actually rides better. Maybe is because I have the extra weight of the bumper and winch in the front, so things balance out at the end.

The 6100's appear to be the exact same length as the stock Sasquatch shocks. So that makes me feel happy that I am not taking the other suspension components out of their design envelope. I was worried about overstressing my CV joints with the spacer kits and that is the main reason I decided to go with this instead.

My next planned upgrade will be a 1" to 1.5" body lift to fit 37's.

From the options out there, I think the 6100's plus a small body lift is the best combination to fit 37's, with better performance over stock and without breaking the bank.

I plan to do a write up about the installation once I have time to sit down and sort through the pictures I took.

Nice. I have these showing up in a few days. Was thinking about not going all the way to the top setting. Maybe one or 2 down on front... How level is it?! Like level level or a bit highish on the front? Few more pics please!! Lol

I was expecting it to be level, but it actually still has a very small rake. Looks just a tad bit lower in the front. Is probably because I added around 100 lbs extra weight with the bumper and winch. If you have a stock bumper, I heard it is leveled.

Almost stock... But not quite. There's a bit of weight up there and a bit more coming with a custom bull/ prerunner bar. Hmmmm lol

It looks like you definitely gained some lift over stock squatch. Did you take measurements before and after?

When you get a chance can you measure from the ground to the middle of your front and also rear fenders? Just curious the height your sitting at now.

Side question, what little side steps are you using? I need something to leave on the wife's side day to day, but removable for wheeling. Thanks ✌

Thanks for the review. This perch collar style lift is definitely a good choice, a spacer lift adds droop and more stress on CV and tie rod at bottom of cycle. I think the diameter of the body adds more piston size and valve options which help with the ride quality.

They probably gave up some optional ride quality on and off road because they wanted to use the stock springs and the rates they have, for budget reasons.

I like the look of 37s or the stuffed look on mine, plus when aired down you dont lose as much ground clearance with a bigger diameter tire.

I am getting around 39.5" in the front and 40.5" in the back. So still a small rake, with the front about 1" lower than the rear.
