Body lift with manual transmission

I am contemplating putting a 1 1/2" body lift on my 4 door black diamond. Does anyone have any experience doing this with a manual? From looking at the aftermarket short throw shift kits it makes me think that the shifter is cable driven and mounted to the body. Thanks

I have a 2 inch body lift/level on my 2 door manual. No issues at all. Have had it on there for over a year.

I have a 2" bodylift on my 2dr MT. No problem w/trans controls at all! Cables have plenty of slack! Pretty much everything has enough slack...was very easy!
