Bronco beeping even with engine shut down

Good evening all...

I have a 2021 Badlands Sas with the 2.7l engine with about 22K miles and the High package. It has developed a bit of an issue and I am hoping that one of you smart folks have experianced this or know why I am.

Yesterday morning when I got back from walking my dog, I noticed the Bronco (whch I did not take to walk the dog) was beeping. Once about every 20 seconds or so it will beep, just once. It did it all day yesterday all last night and all day today and as I am typing this. Its not the horn, just an electronic beep, once every twenty seconds or so. At first I thought it was under the hood, but when I opened it, it sounded like it was coming from the left side of the vehicle....suffice to say I never could identify the exact location.

I started to disconnect the battery and let everything reset, but I thought I would ask here first. I would appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thank you!!

Is it a beep or a click? Is the key in your pocket, or within range of the vehicle. Are you moving where the sensors can detect you.

A “Beep” you say? Is it parked in your garage? Wherever it’s parked move it to a different location and see if sound is still with Bronco or where you had it parked. I’m suspecting a dying battery alert from something other than your Bronco. Or maybe you have an aftermarket car alarm…. that may be giving an audible chirp?

There's nothing like trying to locate that ONE beeping smoke detector in a bigger house. lol

If it's an electronic hum/whine for a second or two, followed by an actuator sound, that's just the stupid key proximity sequence that drains your battery. I notice it happens with my Bronco whenever I open the door from my garage to the hallway where we keep our keys.

I would like to thank everyone who responded my idiotic post. I have cured the problem an d @Dan-O hit the nail on the head. I moved it out of the garage this morning and no beep....well there was still a beep, but coming from in the garage. Turns out the back up battery in my garage door opener is or has gone belly up. That is why I couldn't pinpoint the sound, it was coming from directly above the bronco.
