Reading this thread I checked with my salesman. Now they've been great through the whole process and didn't think there'd be an issue, and there isn't with mine.

I placed my order last month and signed an agreement with the dealer that day as well. I just heard back today after bringing this up with them that they would honor the agreement, so hopefully, that doesn't change upon delivery.
Mine said the same. But also said that if it ends up being a ‘23 model year, all bets are off.

I went in yesterday to upgrade from base to Outer Banks. Dealer said I would have to pay the increased price, but when they tried to submit it it would only come up with the old price so they submitted it that way. They said it might still be with the price increase, but maybe not since it was submitted without it. Fingers crossed I guess

I asked both my Salesperson and the Manager on seperate occasions and they both told me I am price protected even if I get a 23MY. I do have a signed agreement. It seems like the manager at my dealership does involve himself in this community as well since he daily drives a bronco and has a second on order🤣 Hoping we all get treated fairly by our dealers

For those posting their dealers saying they won’t pass the price increase to the customer ask yourself this. The dealership has to now buy your bronco at a higher price from ford. If you don’t qualify for the price protection, you’re trying to tell me the dealer is going to eat that cost for you? Not a chance in hell, and I don’t care what these dealers are texting you. Your MSRP is going up, so whatever deal you agreed to (MSRP + ADM or MSRP minus xxx or just MSRP) that’s what you’re going to get. Grangers $1k under invoice deal just got more expensive too. These salesman are idiots, but the brains behind the dealership are going to shut that shit down really quick when the bronco actually comes in and they run the numbers.

Sorry, but that’s not true. If you have an existing order with Granger, it’s priced the same as it was. This has been verified by Zach at Granger.

Invoice on the bronco is only like $800 less than MSRP if I’m not mistaken. That means on front end only your dealer is only making $800 if you agreed to MSRP. With these $2k price increases, you’re trying to tell me they are now going to take a $1200 loss from invoice on the front end? Nope. You can’t even factor in backend anymore with so few vehicles. Make zero financial sense. I’m sure there will be the one off cases, but in general this cost being passed to ford will be passed to the non-price protected customer, period

I’m referring to the non ford price protected customer. If you placed an order after the ford stated deadlines granger is passing the price increase to you

It's price protected through Ford. And you already have yours, so are you just hoping that everyone has to pay more than you?

Nope, it’s already been verified.

"Your order summary once placed locks in pricing from the order date so you won't see a price bump if your dealer knows what to do correctly."

My reservation has still not arrived. I’m being realistic. My reservation is from April 2021 and trying to figure out if this increase impacts me. I’m past the march reservation cutoff but before the august MIC cutoff. I was a MIC order until November. So not sure if the price protection applies to me.
