Mine was built in April 23 and from factory it showed 1/8" above the hatch marks . Went to dealer to buy oil and the parts guy gave me 7 qts but after reading here I only put 6 in. It still shows 1/8" above the hash marks.

I couldn't go through 47 pages to see if this is addressed but my owners manual clearly states 6 qts. Why is there discrepancy? Is the owners manual wrong?

It’s just an old post. That for some reason keeps being revived. The manual is correct

I wait a few minutes while I'm putting stuff away, probably closer to 7-10 minutes but not a full 15. Heck , the longer it sits and has time to drain back into the pan may show even higher ,lol.

Sure, you can put in 7 qts if you want and other people can put in the corrected Ford specified 6 qts too. Here is the difference between 6 qts and 7 qts in the Bronco's oil pan....to each their own.
