Bronco Team Engineering Confirms 7.0 Quarts for 2.7L Engine Oil Change is Correct

Historically my Badlands 2.7 has been maintained by Ford. All oil change invoices indicate filled with 6.0 qts of oil. I contacted the service deptment today. They indicated the Ford internal service software tells the tech to use 6 qts in the Badlands 2.7. They told me the O&M Manual (7 qt value) is incorrect. My oil level is spot on full on the dip stick. They recommended I contact Ford to confirm.

Just called Ford customer service. 6 qts is the proper capacity for the Badlands 2.7.

I shudder every time it comes back up in the feed. Was good for the few weeks when we were trying to figure out who screwed up but now it's just necro fodder.

Look at what i see in the owner's manual on page 469!!! It's 6 qts!!! Yaaaayyyy!

No. There’s nothing wrong with the dipstick.

Which Dipstick at Ford do you think needs replacing ? Personally I'd start with Farley.
