Why? Those things are fully lubed up with soap solution - crazy amounts actually. And the bristles are soft. I've never had an issue using them on my Bronco 'Scratches' or my 2013 Miata "Stripey".
Often loaded with mud or road dirt from whomever came ahead of you.

Once had one that had a big blob of tar and gravel stuck in the bristles and scratched the crap out of some aluminum rims before I noticed.

So check it before using it? I don't mean to be argumentative, just from my usage experiences. The ones I use have crazy amounts of soap coming out of them.
But I appreciate the reminder to do that!

That sign on the wall should be all you need to know, keep on moving, brush in or out.

In general you don't use any sort of brush on paint, period. It's why most modern wash mitts are microfiber. Today's water based paints are soft and delicate and I have a hard time believing your clear coat doesn't have micro scratches and swirls from using car wash brushes on paint.

Shine a flashlight or let the sun hit your paint and you'll probably notice a ton of swirl marks. Might not be as noticeable on some colors like your Robin Blue but they'll be there

Lots to unpack here :D

First of all, no matter which way the brush is facing, I assume it is filthy and filled with rocks and never use it on the paint.

Vevor. I also like it for washing exterior windows on my house, and can't wait to use it on my camper because that's a real pain to dry!
Which model did you buy? This one?

1894 toilet paper holder patent…this is the correct way 👍🏻

That's the correct way for that specific design which has the small secondary under roller. That diagram doesn't apply to modern holders.

I’m thinking of doing this too. What kind did you go with?
Oh, and I also have quick releases on everything and a shut off valve on my hose, so I can go from pressure washer / foam cannon to regular hose nozzle to deionized easily without turning off the hose at the bib. And, you'll need to hoses to use the de-ionizer, I went and bought a 25' hose that is dedicated to the deionized water ;)

This is the only way. It is for hygienic/sanitary reasons. In the event your fingers come into contact with :poop: , the toilet paper on the roll will come into contact with your fingers when reaching for the next section of paper. If it is positioned the other way, it is likely that your :poop: fingers will come into contact with the wall behind the toilet paper.
