In general you don't use any sort of brush on paint, period. It's why most modern wash mitts are microfiber. Today's water based paints are soft and delicate and I have a hard time believing your clear coat doesn't have micro scratches and swirls from using car wash brushes on paint.
Shine a flashlight or let the sun hit your paint and you'll probably notice a ton of swirl marks. Might not be as noticeable on some colors like your Robin Blue but they'll be there

Oh, and I also have quick releases on everything and a shut off valve on my hose, so I can go from pressure washer / foam cannon to regular hose nozzle to deionized easily without turning off the hose at the bib. And, you'll need to hoses to use the de-ionizer, I went and bought a 25' hose that is dedicated to the deionized water
