I didn't try and fit any objects into the Race Red Bronco with the top down. Access to the cargo area with the top completely retracted is restricted. And if you are keeping the back window and rear side windows stored in the Bronco then you'll have even less space for stuff.

This would only impact about 5% of B6G Bronco owners based on the order statistics of about 5% with soft top only.

Haha, I absolutely love the props! Well done! I can't imagine what the hosts thought when you walked up with a moving box and a gun case!

I want to see more folks build on your motivation. How about a dog kennel with Fido in tow? Probably can't legally find a buck this time of year but it is turkey season so let's see how an old long beard fits in the back! This is greatness and cracks me up, bravo sir!

I'd like to think that I can get 18 to 20 MPG out of the Bronco. To compare, my wife's supercharged Q7 gets about 19 mpg. But... that Q7 drops to 12 MPG if I hook up any trailer to it. (I may be the only person in the US who has ever towed a trailer with a Q7).

My point is that a car like the Q7 is designed to perform for optimal fuel economy within a very narrow window. Outside that window all bets are off. The Bronco is designed to perform across a much broader window. large chunky off road tires, aerodynamics of a brick, etc. and 17 to 20 isn't unexpected. Drive it at 55 on the standard OBX tires and who knows, low to mid twenties?
This does SO MUCH MORE than a Prius. If fuel mileage is what you are setting your priorities on, then you shopping in the wring store. There are very few vehicles that will do what this does and get better mileage. realign your sights. Hit the target you need.

Really nice having real world items for context. The back seat size is a little concerning but I'm not sitting back there so it isn't a deal breaker.
Back seat size.

I always think about my other cars.
Nobody is sitting behind me if Iā€™m driving!
True for my former BMW 325
True for my wifeā€™s Audi Q5
True for an Acura RDX we had

Somebody sits behind me I always have to move the seat forward a bit.

Center seat size? My wifeā€™s Q5 is 12-14 inches depending on where you place the tape measure (14 was generous)

Iā€™m buying a Bronco! Not a Suburban!

Canā€™t wait!!!

You must have looked like a mental patient!

In fact, you probably could have packed up a Bronco and driven away in it.
Who would have said anything?

So this is a really random question, but how wide is the bottom of this bottle? I have been trying to figure out if my 26oz Yeti bottle and/or Yeti coffee cup are going to fit in the front seat cupholder for months but have been unable to figure it out.

The bottle is 3 ā…œā€ and the coffee cup is 3 Ā½ā€ inches. That bottle you have sure looks bigger, so I am hopeful!

The Kleen Kanteen bottle is 3 3/16" in diameter. the bottom of the Dickey's cup is just under 3" in diameter. The top of the cup is just over 4". I think there would be space for a 3 3/8" bottle. Not sure about the 3 1/2" coffee cup. Better cut back on the caffeine.

I also stuffed the Kleen Kanteen in the rear cup holder. It sort of fit.

Thanks for posting. Thankfully, I have no concerns regarding storage space. Has two front seats, two cup holders, and two doors. Good. Check, check, check.

I think the middle rear seat is small because the rear seats sit in between the c pillars and you pick up extra shoulder and elbow room in the cut outs of the doors. The rear seats are pushed back in relation to the c pillars, just like the front seats are to the b pillars. My outback has about a half inch more hip room / shoulder room in the rear. The stitching of the middle seat probably is a inch wider. Iā€™m wouldnā€™t try to put three across in my outback and not expecting to do that with the bronco.

Not my photo, but to give you an idea

I take it you didnā€™t check to see how large of a handgun you could fit in the console or glove box?
