Considering buying a Bronco... how bad are the rattles?

Hey Guys,

I see many people complaining about rattles and squeaks on the bronco, have this issues been sorted out or is it an easy DIY repair?

The roads around me are pretty crappy...

Yes... rattles do drive me nuts!!!

Its not something I can ignore, I own a Mojave and it has some minor rattles but nothing serious, the suspension being so soft helps tame that...

Go into it knowing they are there, but can be remedied with time and effort. I have yet to figure out the one above my head in the soft top frame and how to adjust something to get rid of it. A vehicle with this much flexibility, moving parts, removable parts, and hard plastics is gonna squeak. My Isuzu's (Amigo and Rodeo Sport) did the same but it just took longer for them to get there.

The hard-top folks may have a different take

I have a 2 door. Zero rattles. A little wind noise from the hard top passenger rear area. Not bad. Persoanlly, I find most rattles in newer vehicles are from items we put in them; glove box, doors, etc. I make sure anything hard, like a flashlight, is wrapped in a small towel and then put against a plastic panel, such as in the door. I do remember a new car I had decades ago...had a dash rattle that drove me nuts.

Have a 21 FE with over 10k miles. No rattles or anything like that. I do have "wind noise", but it happens only when my fans are on high. It involves the rear driver side window (4 dr). I am going to have my dealer adjust the window next time I take it in to see if it fixes it.

Otherwise, no weird noises/rattles.

2023 4DR HT with no rattles does have some wind noise when I get on the freeway but with the radio on I don't even notice anymore.

2023 4 door hard top, no rattles or squeaks. Some wind noise of course, but the top's good.

no rattles......just wind noise at high speed, what you would expect.

Most rattly vehicle I've ever owned by far. Seats, roof, every panel in the cargo area, and the list goes on. Even the sun visor rattles against the windshield frame sometimes.

Still love it though.

Funny how my 26 yr old F150 with 225k miles on it doesn't rattle anything like a brand new car.

22 soft top 4 door. No rattlin what so ever.

It's like a janitor with a 100 keys running down a long hall way. Don't do it!

The wife's 2022 4 door hard top with the BesTop Sunrider has only an occasional rattle when on a rough road or offroading. The Sunrider created more wind noise but I added some weatherstripping as recommending in one of the other threads and even that's not bad now.

I spent countless hours and around $2,500 on the sound system. I don’t hear any rattles or squeaks in my Bronco.
