To borrow a phrase from my friend @ttaylor667 , who cares. The camera is lame anyway.

How did that man find pants large enough to haul around those grapefruits he has?yes

Crocs are foolish but people buy them all the time.if people dont see themselves using the camera , go for it.
but for those who actually want to use the tech on their car , it would be foolish to buy the beta test winch
I saw this too and like this winch placement and would adjust my front skid plate to put a winch here. But, I agree the aftermarket will have bumpers and other winch options soon that either house the winch inside the bumper and/or allow the set up to work better with the camera. It's not far off...
That's the 4600 class race truck built on a stock retail unit.

I understand that. My current vehicle has a 360 camera. But I still think it can be successfully moved.again you have to understand that all the cameras have specific lens FOV's and their placement is extremely important for the birds eye drone view feature the car has. (although i think this is only for higher packages could be wrong i never checked)
you move a camera and its going to mess it up
There's a reason why we don't normally do it that way anymore; danger zone! However, when in very deep mud, that's about the best way to drag you out, of course, change the chains for straps.yes

Having the winch set into the bumper like that is going to require relocating the intercooler, at the minimum. It being in the way would appear to be the largest driving force as to why Ford mounted their winch the way they did.Ford did not think about this at all for some odd reason. But i promise you within a year or two that winch will be gone from ford and replaced with a different design from ford. And within a year FOR SURE warn will likely have a new bumper winch something exactly like this (with foglights)
The winch is a dealer installed option. Is the winch factory installed and shipped? Or dealer installed at delivery? In which case you could presumably order it closer to your delivery estimate and wait and see what happens between now and then.
I suspect by the time many of us take delivery there will be a good alternative to what they offer now, either from Ford or 3rd party.
I'm curious to who is driving from the screen versus looking out the big windshield in front of them that it's such a issue!Uh, I'm gonna be regularly solo wheeling, and I don't need a camera to avoid crashing into things sooo....I think I'll take the winch.
Be careful with those thoughts about "smaller". Not sure if you've had one before, but the winch needs to be rated a bit above the weight of your vehicle. The Warn Zeon here is a 10. I wouldn't go below this level for the Bronco. Don't think it needs a 12 either, but still.I plan on getting a winch aftermarket, I imagine one can find a smaller one to hide in the bumper
