Now how about a roof rack. Not looking for the paint protection at this time. It’s like free shit is a conspiracy! It’s just free
Esteban suggested to wait. Now how about a roof rack. Not looking for the paint protection at this time.
My Dealer did the same thing, thanks Eric at KM FordThank you to a great dealer in Massachusetts! I emailed Franklin Ford right away when I hear the news and this was their response:
I am able to add it. I have attached a new build sheet for you. Let me know if it looks good.
Great service!
But he has been quiet lately. Maybe he will hit us with some news to "top" the headliner news.Esteban suggested to wait.
Oh I bet that the news will cover the headliner benefits. No doubt. Just like no good deed goes unpunished. But he has been quiet lately. Maybe he will hit us with some news to "top" the headliner news.
This should be on page 1 and then the other 23 pages of conspiracy theories could be deleted.Bingo, the "sound deadening headliner" is simply cheap felt carpet that they're gluing to the roof. It's an expensive option for customers but it's cheap material costs for ford. I'd bet on it being the fact that gluing the headliner on in the factory assembly process is a choke point for ford so they'd prefer if it's just done by the supplier for almost all of the hard tops so that they can simply put the top on in the assembly plant. The efficiencies they gain could easily be worth the profit loss and material costs.
I'm thinking the same thing. And we would possibly get ours sooner going to the MIC.So a modular painted hard top with sound deadening on my Wildtrak is $2390 but I can get a MIC with sound deadening for $2390 off my build price..
We're paying $2390 for painted top and deadening apparently.....is it just me that is strongly considering going down to MIC?
It will be automatically added if you optioned the hard topAnyone know the order number to add the sound deading liner so I can call my dealer and have him add it. (I ordered a badlands so it isn't standard).
It is not automatically added on trims with the MGV. You have to request it to be added. It will be automatically added if you optioned the hard top
