Here's a couple snapshots...I reversed the way I had it mounted to clear the plastic trim box around the wires and tube that goes to back window wiper-washer-defroster. Fits great and is safer from the elements and theives.
I like it cause it's up outta the way in a space that I have no other use for. So it uses up no usable cargo area and don't looks so guaty on the outside.
At only $25 for hardware, this might be the cheapest mount available for the hi-lift jack! And it looks like ford planned for it, even tho they didn't 
I think you uncovered a hidden design feature. It came that way, I did not paint it....its the patriot edition jack.
Anyone try this with a soft top yet?
