And I like mine

They work well with the DSS sliders

i did front only.

and no, not for looks at all….I think my slider steps give SOME protection but I wasn’t gonna have gravel slinging on my lower rocker panels. Especially with ceramic coating only and no PPF

My universal flaps are holding up great after 2500 Miles. No chips so far.

i like those too

I only dropped $50 on ford ones bc I had points to burn.

I can’t imagine paying $500 for mud flaps (gator backs)

Correct

you don’t actually “pull it out” the felt will pull back easily

insert the clip, then the felt will fall right back on top.

the D clip is for the one threaded bolt

so I did NOT follow the final step of drilling 1/4” holes in the fender for the plastic clips

I feel like the side clips (the C ones) are strong enough.
Were the Phillip-head plastic screw fasteners easy to take off? Do they screw off or do you pull them off?

ideally you screw it out then pop out the other piece

it’s a 2 piece deal

but one of mine I just had to pry out

where did you get those? how did you mount the top screw?
Out of a pile at my work. Top screw is mounted to the fender flares with a clip through to allow the screw the hold onto something. Bottom is bolted through the front of the step board and 3rd is just screwed into the wheel liner.

Don't want to be that guy.... But not all of us bought 4 door broncos. My 2 door was flinging rocks far up the door that when I have my doors off it would hit me as I drive. So even though I hate the look of the flaps I put them on to not get pummeled with rocks as I drive.
Mine too, many chips already from about 25 miles of gravel roads. It's quite unsettling hearing them bounce of the body.

I hate flaps but will be getting them as soon as these ones are available.

Seems like an enterprising company would integrate a decent sized flap with a replacement flare. Once piece, nice shape, easy to swap on and off when you get to the trail... anyone seen anything like that?
