Looking for interior input from current owners

Which top do you have? Is wind noise an issue?

Unfortunately either top is going to be noisy because the roof comes off. It’s not irritatingly loud until you get to speeds you shouldn’t be operating a vehicle of the type at.

I have a Badlands with MGV, and no you can't just take a hose to it. The best you can call it is spill proof.

I've had mine for 5,600 miles, daily driver. I have lux and leather, other than little storage I'm very happy with it. But door pockets, console organizer..ect were must haves after the first week in it.

What did you buy to fix problem ?

The interior is nice. I only have have two complaints, lack of AC seats and drivers storage. The storage is because I came from a full sized, loaded pick up. The AC seats is because it’s a loaded Bronco that wasn’t cheap.. other than that I love the interior. It’s all good!

Seriously, one of my first purchases was fingernail/ring paint protectors for the exterior door handles. Then I noticed I was getting fingernail scratches behind the interior handles you grab to close the doors. StickerFab made me protectors for this area that look great and eliminate this particular issue.

I do have the “wash out” interior and MGV it is super easy to clean. Sorry, but there is no place for carpeting in an off road vehicle.

What are your reviews on the MGV ?

That sounds like a lot of work.

The vinyl floors and seats are not sealed. There are already some videos floating around of people having to pull up the vinyl floor to because of water getting trapped under it and squishing under foot.

Depending how aggressively your are "hosing down" your interior - water is getting into places it can't easily get out of. Might not be a big deal sort term, but I don't want mildew growing in my seat foam.

Besides all that - its much less work to just remove heavy floor liners and seat covers and actually hosing them down with abandon on the driveway and leaving them there to dry in the sun than working a hose around the interior while being careful of electronics and then towel drying what doesn't drain.

FYI the interior on my 2010 Kia scratches less than the interior on my Bronco.

My 2 cents is that MGV is just in fact vinyl.

Maybe it will last longer but, if you don't like the look and feel of regular vinyl you won't like MGV.

I daily drive and no issues with sound, prior vehicle was lexus rx that had horrible windshield noise. The tires are the predominant noise and yet to be expected. I did do the insulation hack to upper roll bar.

Heard a lot of positive reviews compared to leather and cloth but not sure how practical it is for cleaning and durability ?

We have a 22 black diamond mid package with Mgv seats and the wash out floor. Got 7000 miles and the interior has held up well. My wife went from a loaded limited expedition and she loves it. Yup it's not quiet and the trim is plastic but it is an off road truck. I also have a 2019 jeep wrangler and I think the two are about the same quality. The bronco screen and sync system is 100 times better than the jeep. You are going to want some seat covers for cloth seats for sure with kids.. Driving the bronco is tons of fun take the wife for a drive with the top down and she will love it.

How has the wash out functionality worked for you?

The best I can describe the Bronco interior is....'utilitarian',

it's not a kia, but it's also not an ///M car either.

People using Kias as a default for bad car comparisons likely haven't seen modern ones. It was a very valid perspective 20 years ago, but doesn't hold up these days. They make some nice vehicles.

yeah, honestly it’s going to be a daily driver for me and serve as the “suv” for the family. 2 car seat/booster aged kids in the back.
