I have the JCR winch plate and its nice but I really like how high and tight the RC mounts the winch. Interested in seeing some of these installed.

Also, for $210 it seems too good to be true but IDK. Maybe I'm just used to how expensive all the Bronco parts have been.

The RC looks to be an inch or better higher but the winch is completely different too making it look really tall. Just from this thread they might run out of the first run of these lol!

I donā€™t know metals and am curious: will the 1/4 mild steel hold up to the stress of winching a stuck broncos up an incline, or is this just for looks? Iā€™m only skeptical because itā€™s so inexpensive vs. the JCR and when I Google mild steel šŸ˜† it says itā€™s great for applications that wonā€™t be under stress.
Mild steel will be fine for that application and most winch bumpers in the 4x4 aftermarket are made from what is considered mild steel.

1/4" is thick (and heavy), most bumpers you'll find are built from a combination of 1/8", 3/16" steel with maybe a little 1/4".

The ultimate strength of the mount is going to come from how it is designed, formed and welded.

Mine arrived too, but its missing the plastic holders for the sensors.

Before my mount even arrived RC sent out another shipment that is supposed to arrive next week named " BUMPER SENSOR MOUNTING KIT (QTY 4)"

Hopefully that is the missing bits. 4WP messed up the shipment for my winch so I won't have my winch until next week to install the mount :(

My $795 eBay Warn Evo 12s winch showed up yesterday, looks like they are selling them as overstock from Poteau Ford.

Winch mount will arrive Tuesday and a separate shipment for the sensors come Thursday. Just waiting on BAMF to send me the under hood relocation bracket. Hope to see how others turn out.

Same here. I like the stealth of the hidden, but it's been suggested by some that having the winch that low is less than ideal. Plus this one will look great with the JCR prerunner hoop!
I was waiting for a hidden winch as well, but this looks great.

Any more news/progress on the RC mount install?

Regarding the JCR mount, the slot that the ACC sensor peeks through is pretty short - I wonder if that'd affect the radar's performance? Has anyone had experience with the JCR mount?

I'm leaning towards a Warn winch with control box relocate (Warn Elite bumper website states that a relocation kit is available).

Haven't had a chance to mess with mine yet. A guy on fb posted kne yesterday after installation, said it was straightforward with no surprises. Will need to relocate the front camera. He didn't mention any ACC issues.

I got mine all done

I got mine installed except for trimming the plastic tow hook covers and wiring up the lights. You can mount up the mount to the bumper before attaching the winch and winch plate. Make sure you install the sensors before putting on the winch because it's difficult to put those screws and nuts on after. I didn't need to trim anything for my X2O gen3 winch.

My only complaint is it presses on the bumper face a little in the corners by the lower mount bolts (4th pic). It also completely blocks the camera, even if I were to relocate the control pack. Definitely needs a camera relocation kit.

I'm happy with this so far though!

@Blaylock1988 Thanks for posting your thoughts and photos. I also have the LUX package, so will have the same issue with the front camera - have you found a camera relocation kit that could work? Also, how's your Adaptive CC working? with the mount installed? Tnx.
