OP (@Darby 3825), did @Ford Motor Company contact you requesting you DM them so they can arbitrate on your behalf with Grieco Ford of Fort Lauderdale. I am sure I missed their request with one of these 226 posts.

edit: btw, meant to be sarcasm.

Two sides to every story. Not saying op story is wrong. But there is always another side/view

Sure. But the fact the GM or sales person won’t return calls or come out when the OP visits leads me to lean towards the other view is not a good look for the dealer.

Not to question you like an attorney but your explanation has a lot of holes in it. Yes I believe you got a build order and VIN. The Bronco they sold was not your Bronco. You showed us your VIN and a build pick but show us the VIN number of the vehicle that was sold. Also if your Bronco was arriving at the dealer her statement does not match up. "Your Bronco is available"? They want you to meet with the sales director? You should already have a salesman taking care of you when you placed the order. Also what was your timeline of getting the email and acting on it? They told you when you got there the one sold was not yours. Why ? Because it was not yours.

Judgement to the Defendant.

I have a January 21 order/October 21 re-order, and I never dealt with a salesperson. Every single person on the Stephens Auto Center list deals with the Internet Manager for order placement. When their vehicle arrives, they sell a salesperson to complete the transaction.

Here’s the update, just left the dealer and they finally admitted they sold it to someone else. I have been assured they will make it right and are looking for the same or similar build that is complete or almost complete.
that’s all I wanted.

Did they say "why" they sold it to someone else? I'm not sure I'd believe their answer but I'd be curious to know how they were able to come up with a "reasonable" answer (other than "some other guy was willing to pay $20K over so...that happened.)

Based on your statement, you only read the first post and stopped there. Most attorneys wouldn't make that mistake or need to fire their legal team. In the OP's second post he clearly shows that he looked up the VIN and confirmed the vehicle is registered to someone else. Further along in the thread, @flip confirmed it was registered to another person and wouldn't give out her name (rightly so). There are definitely some holes in the story but it's on the dealer's end, not the OP's.

Judgment to the Plaintiff.

The truth will be revealed eventually. It cannot remain hidden. The question is who is looking for it?

If they are like my dealer there is never any pro-active communication and when I call, email, etc rarely do they reply. I usually have to go up there and then be told they know nada.
I would not buy from a dealer that treated me like that.

My spidey sense is telling me THEY AINT GONNA DO SHIT unfortunately. I think you’re gonna have to get ahold of some higher ups in order for them to do the right thing.

One: Get a Lawyer and sue FORD motor company not the dealer. FORD allowed this to happen. You have proof. If you want a vehicle to "settle" FORD should get you one directly to any dealer and make a swap if you choose to continue to work with the current dealer (I personally would not).
Two weeks ago my dealer contacted me to inform me of build date of Aug 29th and a VIN number.
Note my earlier comments were in fun. I left the door open to discussion. Good Luck to you. The dealer needs some "Advertising".
