The 7/26 shutdown was communicated in June.
They’re scheduling Rangers though so I don’t think a plant closure is the reason.

Yeah just a wild guess (late 2021, early 2022, mid 2022, late 2022) would have satiated my taste buds.
Exactly, same for me. GIve me a six month spread (2H 2021, 1H 2022) and it's satisfactory. A quarter estimate (ie q2 2022) would have exceeded my expectations. As it is, Ford has come in far below the bar for communication.

Lol this gave me a chuckle.
I went from "oh I can wait. My car is fine and I have no car payments. I'll wait as long as it takes to get the shiny mod top"

To selling my car thinking we could get by just fine with 1 car

To moving to an area where, "shit I kinda need my own car now"

To giving in, and changing my build to get the Bronco sooner...

To obsessively checking my emails for a build date from Ford.

I'll hand it to Ford. They tested my patience and broke my will. Now I'm a slave to their emails

Read the room, guy

Ditto on most of the above. I really do miss the truck I sold thinking this Bronco would be in our hands this summer.

This is for scheduling. Not actual production
I agree the wait sucks!
I should have said “planning for industrial production processes takes place on fixed intervals. With no changes to demand (orders are already in the system) or supply (no production this week) signals there is no need to adjust the production cadence. Hence no Bronco scheduling”. They are already planned out xx weeks.

I think this is four weeks in a row of no scheduling. What a bummer. Ford is really stamping out the excitement. I realize that this isn’t necessarily a decision that they want to make, but it still sucks.
I think it’s 8 weeks…no full scheduling since May 27th.

Looks like Ford isn’t scheduling any more Broncos, until they can guarantee build dates for the ones currently scheduled. I think they’re making the right call. There are thousands of scheduled Broncos that are still stuck in production, or delayed entirely.

Yeah, I didn’t even get that.
Not getting it is a good thing. I got mine over the weekend, so now I know for sure I'm screwed.

May be true, but if so, it is time for an honest communication.

There are hundreds still sitting at MAP with bad tops, no chips and whatever else is wrong. Mine has been built since 7/1 and just sitting there. They aren't going to schedule more to be built when they have to fix everyone's that has been sitting there for a month plus with defects.
Agree the MAP lots are full of non-shippable units and those should take priority. Having said that, production of shippable units will likely continue vs being placed in a suspense mode. My guess is that they will continue new unit production until they have sufficient inventory of missing/defective parts, then assign one shift to new units and one shift to repair units. That will likely involve using the second (accessory) plant employees to do the repairs while the main production assembly and fabrication employees remain focused on new units that can be shipped. I would assume they have developed a Plan B by now. I could be wrong, but they aren't new to production issues. Think cash flow...

When was the last time they scheduled non-FE builds? I can't even remember it has been so long.
Interestingly, my dealer informed me Saturday that Ford moved my FE to priority 1. So much for my Thursday excitement....
