Nice. I was more curious as to the actual device though. There are a few out there but I don’t have experience with any of them. Most of my recovery experience is with semitrucks, winches, and really big kinetic ropes. No matter how many times I see it I never get bored watching a 2” rope shrink before popping a truck out.

I hadn't considered a rear winch before, but can see it has some real benefits. With a winch front, and back, go which way is best.

I picked up a SuperWinch Winch-in-a-Box at Overland Expo for $200. Not for everyone, but it's rated for 4000 lbs and comes with a snatch block. With an extension it should be all I need.
