Any ideas? Sasquatch, original oem Goodyears. Both tires, both on the inside.

This uneven wear began, best I can tell from pictures, somewhere around 26-28k miles, and I'm now around 32k.

Heading in for new tires in the front since I am gonna be on the road in a few days, and definitely getting the alignment checked and calibrated as necessary. Any other ideas? I haven't noticed any other negative driving characteristics.

Had the front axle (brain malfunction) driveshaft replaced (free- Ford satisfaction program 22b27) around 29.5k, and the wear was already there, but I honestly hadn't noticed it.

Yikes - definitely alignment. You likely have a valid warranty claim here as well if its been f’d since the get go even though the tire is a wear part - assuming no aftermarket suspension work that is. On a related note if you have meaty tires and you don't rotate them periodically they will cup over time and lead to vibration issues at highway speeds. Learned that the hard way
.

Thanks. Was thinking along these lines. Spent months on the road recently, and at a Ford dealer in Denver, they said 'yeah we didn't rotate the tires, because they didn't need it' đŸ€Ż

they don’t rotate them because they sell them
. To be fair you can‘t really see the cupping until you’re up close and someone points it out to you. I had it happen on my ‘18 F150 after 15kish of miles on new tires and the vibration just kinda turned on one day, super weird. upto then i traditionally just ran the OEM tires without rotating because i was lazy.

well, sure, I'm cynical too! But they also claim to be performing an inspection of normal wear and tear items đŸ€Ą

I would be contacting the dealership who replaced the axle shaft. They apparently did not perform an after repair alignment.

22B27 is the front driveshaft replacement, not axle. Replacing either one doesn’t require an alignment however.
Either way, just looks like a normal alignment issue to me.

My guess: either you installed a lift or some other suspension mod - or you took a NASTY hit to one of those tires at speed to knock it out of alignment that bad. Doing a lot of jumps?

Have you added weight to your Bronco? After adding all my armor, my suspension is about 1-in lower. It didn't take long and I noticed the inside front tires starting to ripple.

That 1-in lower was enough to throw off my camber (We can also affect your toe a bit).

Took it in and had it aligned, fixed it right up and the ripple wore off even.

Looks like you never rotated your tires or had your Bronco re-aligned.

Here's the bigger question, did you have your alignment checked after you added likely hundreds of lbs of aftermarket bumper and winch to the front of your rig? 1000% will affect the ride height and with IFS you have to check the alignment when you do ANYTHING that will change the ride height like that.

I've had my Bronco aligned 4 times in 20,000 miles.

Adding all of this requires a trip to the alignment shop.

Indeed, driveshaft. Brain-malfunction, thanks.

No added lift. Stock Sasquatch suspension, 100%. The only hill I took...spiritedly...in the desert outside Moab wasn't really a jump, but sure, could have affected alignment.

Probably right about the bumper + winch leading to alignment issue.

Why have you realigned 4 times? Is that 4 separate weight changes?
