Picked up my BD 2.3L Manual 2-door August 2022. Daily driver mostly highway. During the warmer months I was pushing 20-22mpg. Winter months here in MN 17-19mpg. Looking forward to warmer months. Had one round trip MN-AZ last Oct averaged about 20mpg.

I do love driving it, rowing my own gears....

After more than a year and 27,500 Miles my average is 17.5, worst tank was 14.41, best tank was 19.98mpg. I also see a distinct drop in MPG during the cold weather months.

How does the highway noise with that roof compare with the hard top? Mine is seriously annoying me and the dealership won't do anything about it so I'm looking into alternatives.
Noiser, but I'm sure there's hacks to fix it. I drive slick back and windowless most of the summer, doors I save for certain occasions as it's more a PITA, but as I see it, not a bad trade off to get the most of the season

Just got back from a road trip through New Mexico. 500+ miles (all highway) and got about 23mpg. I did keep the cruise set to 70 the whole time which helped a lot. Stock BD 4dr 2.3 Softie.

I'm a bit shocked....been leaving it in Bronco mode, mixing fuel to get around 90 octane, and then really trying to milk it for mileage. Got near 21 last tank and I'm right near that now on this tank. And this is Chicago burbs....even on a run to Midway, was over 21.5, super shocking.

Let no one fool you, how you drive it matters.

WT stock. I drive pretty conservatively. Got it up to around 13.9 but thats the best I can do. I knew it wasn't going to be great but I was hoping it would be closer to 16mpg. I only have 500 miles on it.
