Why would there be 80 miles on new Bronco?

Its kind of like that old movie where the Scottish landlord sleeps with all the new brides. The dealer gets to take your car out for a spin. And if his nephew has a big date and wants to impress the girl, hey. Just check your seat for any indents from high heels.

Also, when the transport driver wants to go out for a night on the town, he cant exactly cruise around in the transport truck, now can he?

My 2022 Badlands came in with 4 miles 3/25/22, but my 2023 Wildtrak came in 10/29/23 with a little white slip that said quality check and had 114 miles on it. in the gloves box in all the paperwork black and white about 6"L X 4" wide. Was told when they are on hold for quality defects, missing parts, and random testing they are driven.

Eighty is pretty standard testing, as when put next to its reflection on the dash odometer it changes from "80" to "8008". This is much easier to obtain than having the tech drive the car 80085 miles to get the more desired outcome on the odometer.

mine had 12.4 on it. and a couple of those miles were to the gas station and back so it would likely have been 10 ish off the semi.

My BD had about 120 miles when I picked it up from the dealer. I know it was shipped from Flat Rock assembly from where the Mustang is built and not from Michigan assembly.

Mine had 43 miles and a Ford Mfg. sticker in the window that said it was pulled off the line and test driven by a Ford engineer before shipping. That 28 miles was from that test. No issues whatsoever.

I lived near Dearborn. My friend owned a business providing drivers for New Fords that are routinely convoyed (8-10 Broncos, F-150s, Raptors etc) from production lines to storage lots. Then to accessory shops, back to lots and then to shipping yards. And yes, some are pulled for quality control, but those come with a sticker letting the new owner that this has occurred.

Mine had 19 miles when it was delivered. Chalked it up to transit to and from ice mountain.

After test driving and the dealer filling it up with gas, I left the lot with 23 miles on the odo.

At the end of the day a year from now hell probably even a month from now you are not going to give a damn about 80 miles.

I think mine had 15 miles on it and my dad's had 120ish on it and was caked in mud.

My Bronco spent 2 weeks in QC Purgatory and had 13 miles on it at delivery. Yours just got more use.

Back in the early days of Dirt Mountain the vehicles were driven to that lot, driven back for proper ECM (during the lack of those) as well as post line accessories

Your warranty starts with the mileage at delivery.

i put 20 miles on mine while they were doing paperwork

Back in the day before you all well most of you were born .....early sixties Chysler Imperials went straight from assembly to the test track and then QC'd

It could be worse.... my 21 Bronco Sport only had a few miles on it but it had water spots on the paint the PDI guys could not get out and it had stripper glitter all over the seats and console.
I had to fix both of those myself.
