Reservation date is part of the formula. The mix rate is the other part that will dictate when orders are fulfilled. Mix rate is determined by production capacity of MTP and the suppliers. Fingers crossed that ford used the projected build data to manage the supply chain. Depending on the margin I bet ford goes 10 hour shifts with some Saturdays if the suppliers can keep up.

BTW - sometimes it’s advantageous to not receive a production unit from the first month. In my experience it takes 2-3 months at full rate to settle out production issues, another few to button up most engineering issues. A vehicle built in the first month will have multiple campaigns as it sits on the yard.

If they can really knock out close to 10k a month once they get humming that's about a year's worth of production across MY21 and early MY22 before switching over to stock. Not bad at all.

At what point does the cheat get counted? Will dealer cheats get filled before actual customers?
I had 2 reservations at 2 different dealers and when the dealer called me and I told him I canceled the reservation online, he was not happy.

The guy on here that works there said max possible is 20k per month for Bronco. Optimal conditions, everything perfect. So real world maybe they get close eventually, but should be able to crank 12-15k monthly this year as a reasonable estimate when full go.

My dealer with the buyers group had 400 reservations and around 335 convert. Initial allocation was around 115 allocation. Will be interesting to see how the actual implementation of the formula works out.

You sold us short just a bit on volume but your math was right with the 84% conversion rate.

Also I do think some dealers were only converting the orders they had allocation for based on the estimate, not understanding that they'd loose their allocations by not converting ones that weren't in the allocation estimate

I think it means I should be good with a July 15th res and 3 of the deadly six in my build.. Course that also means I won't see my Bronco til November or later, but at least the wheels won't fall off..... SUCKERS!

Reservations before that date that are converted to orders count in the dealer allocation formula for MY21. Ford never intended nor did they say the date had any other impact, but some people read it as a MY21 cutoff date. It was never that. Meaningless except in regards to the formula.

Thanks! I was 10 days outside that date at 9/28 so just curious. Not overly optimistic I'll get mine this year.

It means when issues are found on multiple vehicles the QC mgr or launch mgr will require all units be inspected/repaired for the issue. Happens daily on a major launch.

I believe the gentleman worked at the Kentucky plant and he did state he was giving his best estimate for MAP. I don't remember him saying anything close to 20k a month but I will look for his post. I thought his estimate was around 10k a month for this year. Hold please
