I'd bet that post initial order-conversion, there's been 10X more change orders on body color than trim & door combined.Insecurity on people's decision making

My point is that people bash other options, such as 4 dr vs. 2 dr; squatch vs. non squatch; MGV vs. leather; 2.3L vs. 2.7L; auto vs. MT; area51 vs. cactus grey; etc. etc. because they are insecure about their own decisions and they need someone else that made the same choice as they did to validate them. It's a lack of maturity at the base of it all.I'd bet that post initial order-conversion, there's been 10X more change orders on body color than trim & door combined.
It was a huge discussion on Ranger5G before that launched how many were getting super cabs or crew cabs. (FWIW, we were in the minority in that segment as well, getting the 6' bed and super cab, because why would you want a truck with a 5' bed?)Why is 2dr vs 4dr even a topic of conversation? They both look good. It is nice to have the option to get what you want/like/need. It is NOT blasphemy that Ford chose to produce both. It probably benefits 2dr buyers more because if Ford could only produce one I dare say it would be the 4dr.
Admit it, you didn't want to be seen carrying the rear doors on the Walk of Shame. The verdict is in. I'm gonna stick with the 2DR and instead of blasting through desert washes at 95 I'll try to keep it below 85.

I can neither confirm nor deny that I ever seriously considered switching sides, and that I was not merely trying to start a war.Admit it, you didn't want to be seen carrying the rear doors on the Walk of Shame.
I can neither confirm nor deny that my invitation of joining the 4dr club was legitimate.I can neither confirm nor deny that I ever seriously considered switching sides, and that I was not merely trying to start a war.
The perfect bed length is one where you can use a bed extender and get 8' wood/panels etc. in. Our SuperCrew F150 came up just a bit short. A 6" longer bed would have been great. I liked having 4 regular doors, but I think if I would have checked the rear seat space in the SuperCab and known about the bed length, I might have gone that way.It was a huge discussion on Ranger5G before that launched how many were getting super cabs or crew cabs. Ultimately you have people of the same tribe (Bronco6g) with some minor differentiation based on needs/wants/poor taste.
This is the same here and why some people ordered the 4-door, unfortunately. However, I won't participate in that kind of mud slinging just because somebody wants their vehicle to look terrible. I support them wholesomely and desperately wish they all choose Cactus Gray and Antimatter Blue for their 4-door broncos!
I will do you one better... anyone who sits on my back seat is going enjoy the ambiance of my garage, because that is where the seats will be.This thread just gave me an idea.
Gonna do a seatbelt delete in the back and give the rear passengers a rope to hold on to while I try to eject them out of my open roof
