yeah but imagine how many "special editions" they'll pump out!
And the YouTubers…. err, brand ”ambasatards“ will likely get theirs in 2028 cause you know, SEMA! Gots to get your trick builds in for SEMA or the earth will stop spinning.

God forbids. Amen. 😞

I wouldn’t bet against technology. Once a BEV can be recharged in less time than it takes to gas up, the ICE’s days will be numbered. That could happen tomorrow or ten years from now. Who knows?

Do I miss setting timing on a mechanical ignition? Nope
Do I miss cleaning and rejetting carburetors? Nope
Do I really really love modern turbochargers? Yes

There are already batteries on the horizon that can charger faster and provide substantial range, they just don't have endurance. It'll certainly be interesting. Now if only we could get nuclear energy back to the front.

Next gen Bronco info:

AutoForeCastSolutions has published its comprehensive North American vehicle product map (updated Nov 2022). Their product map has been pretty accurate in the past.

  • Current Bronco (U725) end of production: October 2029
  • Next gen Bronco (U765) start of production: November 2029 (ending 2036)
  • Electric Bronco EV / BEV (U800) start of production: November 2029 (ending 2036)
  • 7th gen Bronco will remain on the T6 platform and continue being built at Michigan Assembly Plant
  • Electric Bronco BEV will be built on TE1 platform (shared with Ranger BEV) and built at Blue Oval City in Tennessee

Ford Bronco 7th Gen 2030 Bronco Coming End of 2029, Together With Electric Bronco EV (TE1 Platform) 0A80BC8F-A77A-4B7B-BAB8-F47576D08F96
Maybe they'll actually fill orders by then.

I love the 6G but Ford go this direction with the 7G. Hire the person whoever did these renders.

That's just a different grill and fenders. I sure hope the 7G doesn't look like the 2G.

Hilarious to take seriously any predictions this far out. Remember when Ford was going to make a Bronco pickup and then summarily killed that with extreme prejudice? Me neither...

* Assumes Blue Oval City is actually completed by 2029 and Ford doesn't back out before then.

The near future is actually worse batteries, not better. Ford is already planning on changing the lower trim Mach-E and Lightning to LiFePO batteries which are lower performance than the current ones. (but cheaper)

So get your order in today boys and girls. If it's a 2030 you will see it in 2033??? I will almost be dead by then. BUT...according to folks on this site my 2023 Badlands MIC will have a value of $200K to $250K.
