Hello Bronco family, today I took my 22 Wildtrak to some nearby trails and it was doing great until it stalled on an incline and wouldnt start over any more!! It was asking for a “Manual Start”? I couldnt find any where on how to do that. Its an Automatic. I am very disappointed that this happen, I have lost trust in my Bronco to take out again. Smh! What can I do about this? Has anybody had this happen?

edit: Sorry looks like a 22. :) I just came from reading the 2.7 thread, so I had that on my mind when reading this thread.

I dont know the date, I just got it about a month ago. It just stalled, check engine light came on and that was that. Disconnected the battery for 20 mins, Nothing. Plugged a scanner to take off the check engine, it worked but Bronco did the same. Crank crank crank and nothing. Just Horrible for a brand new truck to have that issue, left me hanging in a very bad spot.

That does suck. :(

You should be in the clear as far as the engine problem I was referring to. It must be something else.

Bro, you don't have to be so dramatic. It's a mechanical thing, and occasionally mechanical things break., even when they're new.

Maybe I'm just jaded, I've driven mostly Land Rovers.

But still. Not a huge deal bud.
