The majority of 35" and larger tires only come in E ratings (some D but very very few C).
you're probably right. I would expect that until you get into some very specialty tires for technical crawling and off-road only/low-speed application

I would keep them....put them on some cheap rims you buy on CL and use them for offroad. Then pick up a set of the goodyear 315s they put on these Broncos and just use them with your rims. You can probably get them cheap on CL too. with this plan you will have 2 sets of wheels/tires and spend less then if you just go into a tire shop and buy new ones.

As a side note. This is a great post. I love it when people compare a jeep on mud terrains to a Bronco with the stock bfgs and talk about how rough it rides vs their Bronco. Tires are everything.

I have the same issue with my Jls. I got some mud terrains and it drives harsh...my goodyear duratrax ride 10x better. You wouldnt think there is that much of a difference, but there really is.

Ran E-rated at 80 PSI on our expedition. Ran fine. I like feeling the road, hate a squishy ride.

Squishy tires make a vehicle corner like crap too.

you dont need E tires unless you're towing some bigger weight or using some huge amount of payload, neither of which are in the bronco's wheelhouse. JMHO
Or until you get tired of puncturing tires by driving over a Cholla Spine, or a twig, or a sharp piece of scree.

P rated tires belong on pavement. I don't even live on a paved road. If they made C rated tires for the Mustang I'd use them.

E tires will ride much smoother with some weight in the rig. My wife's luggage is typically enough weight to make a night and day difference 😆

In general, as the volume of air in the tire goes up, the less pressure it takes to support the same amount of weight. Not just the overall size of the tire, but the actual air volume. A 35 inch tire on 15in wheels has far more volume than a 35 inch tire on a 20 inch rim. Each individual tire size has it's own unique weight rating based on pressure. If you are going up in tire size on the same rims, you should generally go down in air pressure.

Most people run far more air than they need. Maybe it helps with mileage, but it usually comes at the expense of even wear and ride comfort.

Love my e-load Klever AT2s. Run them at 40psi too.
Oh, and there was that time when I pulled a 2" lag bolt from the tread and it didn't even need a patch.
I didn't notice much of a difference in how smooth they ran vs. the stock Duelers either.
Maybe the G2's are just super stiff.

My winter tires 315/70R17 studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta is E rated, I had been running 35 psi, I dropped to 30 psi and got the desired traction improvement with the added benefit of a slightly better ride.

My stock Sasquatch summer set I've found a sweet spot at 35 psi.

I had a set of Terra Grapplers on my f150 and I hated them so much. Zero wet traction.

I'd say drop some air and see what you think.

How's the tire and wheel assembly balance.?
How's the radial and lateral runout of the rim and tire?
If your problem(s)are from any of these factors then a good tire shop can sort out the issues (unless something is out of allowable spec.
In some cases a road force balance done by a competent tire tech.is what's needed.

I have been running 40 psi. I wasn't comfortable any less. 32psi? Seems really low but at this point, it is give it a shot or shell out $1500 for new rubber...
I run my 37's E rated at 37psi and handle nicely, no complaints.

The Kenda AT2 35s are load E and I am not having the stiffness issues I am reading here with other tires brands. I'm guessing it's because it's a snow mud hybrid at tire? I know compared to the Goodyear's they are quiet, and just as plyable. I haven't had rough ride issues at 38-40 psi in the winter, I usually run them at 35 psi in warmer months so they don't get up to 40+.

No lift, just stock Badlands that I put 315's on.
Do you experience any rub with the tires? I am planning to put the goodyear wranglers that come on the sasquatch on my badlands and was considering the leveling kit. I know a lot of people complain about picking up gravel but they seem like the best on road tires with some off road capabilities

I run a F rated tire at 28 psi and I could go lower the edges of my tread do not touch but it does not ride stiff and they are wearing good so far. But my next set of tires I will go back to patagonia MT 38x13.5x17 c rated for weight
