So I was lucky enough to see a bronco for the first time this past week and I’ve had a concern that was reinforced seeing the bronco in person. The concern I have is how is Ford going to protect our fender flares from theft? I was able to remove a fender in about 5 seconds and the Ford rep did it in about 10 seconds. I just see a big black market being created from stolen fender flares since a thief can walk away with all four fender flares in probably less then a minute.

I mean... it’s certainly plausible. But like, are we expecting the fenders to be super valuable to the point there is an actual black market for them?

If said black market does in fact exist, where are they funneling the fender flairs to? Is there a high demand for ground up fender flairs in China where men use them for youthfulness and increased sexual potency?

But the flares only fit another Bronco right? I don't see a big market in these, since they are not much use on other vehicles.

I think I'll probably bolt mine on through the holes for the quarter turn levers. Its just plastic so it'll be easy enough to drill a bolt hole if needed. I prefer to use existing fastener holes so I'm not having to drill into paint. I do agree - Ford needs to provide a locking solution. I dont know how big the black market will be, but I also know kids don't exactly need a reason to be little d*cks.

Not too worried.
How about those catalytic Converters? They are more valuable.

Not this again. What are all these fender flares thieves going to do with all of these fender flares they’re stealing?

If you Park somewhere where you might have a problem, invest 30 seconds and lock them inside the truck.

I wouldn't rely on Ford. Especially if their rep takes twice as long as you 😀.

Three Jeep wranglers I owned....

never was I like, man I wish I could just swap out the fender flares super quick.

nor was I ever.,. Even after noticing a couple blemishes in my black hard top that showed white underneath like... man I wish the entire hard top had been molded in one color.

congrats Ford: trying to be too cute, and actually creating problems!

Bingo. If someone really wants one of my Bronco flares well they probably need it more than I do.

Cats are a different story...
