So for six months I have requested my deposit money be returned. Calling Ford and they refer back to the dealer of choice. So for me it Bob Toms Ford of McKinney. It has taken 10 phone calls and a trip to the dealer and still no return. Not worth the effort and that's they're plan. All I can say is to stay away from Bob Toms Ford.

If it is just your hundred dollar reservation fee you can transfer to another dealer by talking to Ford that will cause your reservation fee to be refunded then you can cancel your order with the new dealer.

File a credit card dispute. That is probably the easiest way to do it.

When I made my reservation I avoided a dealer here... (Annoying as hell radio/TV ads) then my buddy got a Tremor from a different dealer and he recommended me. So I changed my reservation. I wanna say ford refunded it to me when they changed it. I called the new dealer to verify they got it and they did and I didn't need to pay again.

If you paid with a credit card reach out to them and dispute the charge.

Yeah..that is the best way. They charged something on your Credit card and got nothing. Most give you the credit right away while the dispute is filed.

I would call or show up one last time and tell them if it’s not returned you’ll dispute the charge with your credit card company. Hopefully you used a credit card. Call your credit card company and open up a dispute with them. Let them go after the dealership.

I think charge backs have a time limit, something like 90 days IIRC
Correct. Chargebacks have time limits. If it's been 6 months, OP is out of luck if they used a Visa or MC.

" For example, Mastercard has a chargeback period of 120 days from the delivery date for goods that a consumer doesn’t receive or raises an issue related to quality. The chargeback period is also 120 days for many other problems, such as an incorrect transaction amount or duplicate transaction. "

For Visa: https://chargeback.com/visa-chargeback-time-limits/

I was assigned to them when I made my reservation. The way their sales dude condescended to me when I went in to talk to him the first time caused me to move to another dealer.
