Maybe I'm just extra sensitive to it now, but it seems like mine is getter louder every day. I still have to strain to hear it over the engine/tires while in motion, but neutral is pretty bad. I'm going to take it in this week to at least get it documented.

I really appreciate the convenience and organization of this thread for tracking & diagnosing the issue. I picked up my Bronco in early October and live in SE Michigan, where it has been below 50 much of the time since I purchased. My Bronco definitely fits the criteria, but like many others, I did not think much of it as it has made the sound since I purchased it. My Bronco also has some unresolved issues with its hardtop, so it will be interesting to see how all this pans out.
Thanks so much for the positive review. If you come across any information you deem valuable please share. The purpose of starting this thread is not to complain..we love our Broncos. However it is apparent many of us will need service.

Drive in 1st and 2nd and R super slow on mine produces the noise and it's obvious also when I'm clutch down and moving slowly. 3rd I hear it faintly but more so 8 think quieter because road noise drowns it out. 4,5,6 quiet as can be IMO.

Mine has definitely gotten louder also. I’m getting noise every once in a while after warmed up now.

Here's a video of mine, which mostly doesn't have the grinding sound. It's at high idle just after cold starting.

Thanks for this! Should be helpful for those who keep saying manuals are just noisy which is not true.

The purpose of this thread is to help those who are just beginning or may already be experiencing a scraping noises with the 7 speed manual transmission. All material is centrally located to help organize all resources. Please feel free to request any additional links be added.

This is my 2022 2.3L 7MT 2500 miles as of 1/12/2023

This video is best viewed with headphones. The sound produced can be heard much better but it can be heard without as well. There are a large number of brand new Ford Bronco experiencing these issues of scraping noise in the 7MT. The noise may vary in severity based on environmental temps below 50*F. Please share and use the links below to help us get our Broncos fixed!

Contacted the dealer today about setting up the repair and was told most parts are on back order until late February/early March timeframe. Guess I’ll drive till it goes and tow it in.

My parts were ordered on Monday
Dealer told me they were back ordered until late February or early March
Of course they say it’s ok to drive because lemon law in NC kicks in if it’s out of service 20 business days in a 12 month period.
Good luck to you …fingers crossed they figure this out
