Plan B was bought in July 2021 and looked like this initially. Well not initially, that was after I did a bunch of work to fix it up.

But then I started Rock Crawling again, and I remembered how much I loved it and the mods started to happen. As it sits now. 37" Maxxis Creepy Crawlers, Genright Aluminum Corners, and much more.

It has the ORO AiROCK system so I can raise it almost 11" which is limited by the shock length

Maybe someday a 2Dr Bronco will be in my Driveway, but I am living life to the fullest until Ford can make that happen.

If you see me, at RC or AOAA, definitely say hello and if you are willing to do Black and Red trails, you are always welcome to join the group.

I have had my Plan B for just over a year and really am surprised how much I love it! My bronco build email finally came so I will see what happens when it arrives at the dealer.

I think you are doing just fine without plan A. Seems like a series of wise choices!

Very nice. Jeep did a great job with that Recon package and your extras look factory.

Contemplating picking up a used TRD Off Road 4Runner, figure I'll have a couple months to drive it before I can even order a Bronco, who knows, maybe I'll like it.

Still think they should do a fixed roof version of the Bronco...

My current lease is up next October, but I'm planning now. If I don't have a build date by Spring, I'm going to be looking hard at GMC's new truck line up. The ZR2/AT4X/Denali Ultimate across the truck line up looks very sharp, and would happily fit my needs. I was a day 1 reservation, and just approved my '23MY order. I don't want to be hitting summer and not have a fun vehicle, or be stressing over what to do.

My plan B turned into something I said I wouldn't do. Pay over MSRP.
Welcome to the "I might feel bad for requiring some people to have a plan B" club. While we are certainly not the founding members, we are amongst the first to admit it.

So, I clearly don't have the patience that some of you have. I talked to my dealer in July and obviously still cannot order. 3 months in, looking at at least 2 more months before I could order and then what...a year wait if I'm lucky?

I'm putting a deposit on a TRD Off Road 4Runner this weekend and getting my deposit back from the Ford dealer. It is an acceptable alternative to me and I will save a pile of money and move on. Maybe I'll look at getting a Bronco in a few years once Ford has this figured out.

And yeah, I know, anything bigger than 32's on a 4Runner requires a lift and modifications. I think 32's will be fine for now.

My plan B turned into something I said I wouldn't do. Pay over MSRP. However if I wanted to get Cyber Orange, waiting for my order no longer works.

Technically it's used with 500 miles (dealer to dealer). BadManSquatch with Lux.

I'm going to do this too. I'm waiting a bit to see if things come down at all though.

I'm in the 'why not both' camp though. I'm hopefully getting delivery of a 392 next month.

Depends on what you order, it could be as little as 3-4 months, it really depends on how the dealer is doing with regards to allocation and whether you order something that Ford can easily build.

My Bronco was not a reservation, but the program I ordered through had allocation... I had all sorts of constrained items (2d, hardtop, 2.7, tow package, lux package).

my order date was 5/4/21, my VIN came 5/24/21, my build date was 8/5/21, but delayed shipping until 10/31/21 due to hardtop debacle. I picked it up 11/19/21.

I have been looking at 4Runners, and if they had an 8+speed trans or a manual option I wouldn't be posting on this forum. I've looked at Wranglers but just can't, but really do wish Chevy made an SUV version of the Colorado (Blazer). A new Blazer ZR2 would be great :cautious:
