MIC top concern - faint cracks

Noticed this yesterday. Cracks are very faint. How concerned should I be? Only 8 months old and took the top off twice over the summer.
2023 2 door base.

Welcome to Club Crack. It's not as exciting to be a member as it sounds.

Found mine earlier this month on my May delivery 23 model. I'm not overly concerned but did swing by the service dept and they didn't blink twice , just said to stop by and make a formal request for a replacement anytime during the warranty period. I don't want to get several replacements so I'd rather wait awhile to see if Ford can get the top issues sorted out before I get a replacement.

Since day 1 MIC issues. At this point how can anyone be surprised. Stand in line for warranty. Good luck to ya.

Good news is you will get a new top. Mine is at the dealer now for replacement. I hope it lasts longer than the first one.

If you bought it new from a dealer it should have a warranty from ford. If you got it second hand SOL.

Seems to be staying the same. I expect it to get worse when it sits outside in the heat this summer.

Very concerned. Rub baby powder over it and it will show all the cracks very well

For what it's worth, my cracks haven't progressed noticeably since I first noticed them 1.5 years ago. Still shouldn't be happening in the first place though.

I sold mine for $7,000 on fb market and now have no worries of the inevitable failure. My .02 is that they r all junk - get paid for it while demand is still high. I went with a Trektop and have zero regrets.

I’m awaiting the appt for replacement of the drivers panel and rear clamshell (2DR).
