So I have been through so many threads it is making my head spin - I just want to make sure I am reading this correct. If I did NOT order the AUX switches it is NOT plug and play. It is semi wired but not all the way?! I ordered an Outerbanks without Aux switches b/c I am a dumba$$ - installed pod lights and LED light bar ordered the OEM console assembly/ switch assembly - but cannot figure out how to connect. What else do I need to order?! Please help me.

It seems like they are some vehicles/trims that are delivered with the components for a plug and play switch unit install, and some that are not.

Check out the “adding switches after delivery” thread for forum member experience and relevant part numbers and diagrams

I read the original thread mentioned above and I believe they determined that the wiring harness is not in either A pillar, and it requires a different overhead console part number. So, I went an easier route and got a 6 switch panel. It fits nicely in the gap in the hero switch panel. Used a mount from Bullet Point mounting solutions, with 1/4 20 1” ball to hold it.

Part of the problem is the harness going from the passenger A pillar is different from AUX to non-AUX. I posted the P/N in that thread but never heard if anyone verified the wires to the A pillar connector were there. If so, there's a good chance it might be plug and play since most have the wires under hood already.
