Almost exactly the same as my Mustang: 16mpg. I only have 650miles on the Bronco though. I was hoping for 17mpg.

19.6 per Fuelly app better than the 18 on the window sticker, or the 17'ish I got in my Mustang previously, so I'm happy.

Here you go, my mileage over 3351 miles including climbing up and down a lot of hills, many at 7000-8000 feet. 2-door 2.3 Sasquatch.

These seem all over the map. Dash says 16.5, and I just crested 1,000 miles. Stock 2.7 Sasquatch 4D BB. 2000 ft elevation. 87 octane. Mostly normal mode, but I’m gonna try sport mode. This includes a few minutes of idle time in the morning when I get off work to warm engine/interior after it sets outside all night. Mixed driving style that’s all over the map from eggshell throttle to getting where I need to go.

Makes me laugh when people quote their vehicle calc d mpg…. Do it manually then it really means something. Probably 90+% of vehicle manufacturers electronic calculations are optimistic …. From 1/2 to 1 1/2 mpg.

If we're ALL comparing what the gauge says, it's still a valid comparison overall.

Scott, I understand that however one more variable is different driving styles.

Whatever makes each owner “happy” is what they should do. I only caution the unsuspecting who rely on others quotes/driving styles as factual.

Yep. The only reason that I posted my MPG was to show what was possible if you actually try to get good mileage.

I'm wondering if it's a mistake, but I keep the fuel economy gauge up on mine most of the time when I'm not off road. For some reason I can't help but try for another 0.1 improvement. I would probably enjoy driving my Bronco more if I didn't know how much fuel it uses until I fill it up again, like with my Mustang.

This pic is our trip last weekend from my driveway in FL to our cabin in NC, all our weekend driving, sport, manual, up and down mountain roads. Trip to and from home, OE roof rails, with a rack and soft luggage carrier, 4 suitcases, and the back filled with everything else we bring. First tank 93, rest of trip 87.

I do the same thing. Saturday when my wife came home from work the mpg gauge was at 16.0, I drove it Sat night and Sunday midday and got it to 17.0.

Weird thing tho, we bought the truck in Vermont, and I flew up and drove it home. I noticed that the first fill, Distance to Empty was at well over 400 miles. Average mileage, was 20/21. I reset every tank, then and now. But it kept dropping the closer I got to FL. And now our DTE is 330 or so and we average 16/17. On our trip last weekend, a few fills were 285-300 to empty. 87 all the way home on the VT trip and 93 here locally at home. Wife drives 3 miles to work.

I am averaging 23.3 MPG since new (1,600 miles). My last tank was 23.7 (with calculator); screen displayed 24.2. My normal mix of city/highway driving. It has been below freezing since I took delivery. 2023 BB 2D MT.

First 7,000 miles (31 tanks), graphically. MPG calculated by odometer miles divided by gas tank volume on the refill.

Ford Bronco Real world MPG BnUpjaT

2-door BB, badlands takeoff wheels, 2.7L.
Mix of highway and city driving.
11 tanks mostly "normal" mode,
15 tanks "eco"
5 tanks "sport".

Cumulatively across the entire life of the vehicle, 17.2 mpg.
