Almost exactly the same as my Mustang: 16mpg. I only have 650miles on the Bronco though. I was hoping for 17mpg.

If we're ALL comparing what the gauge says, it's still a valid comparison overall.Makes me laugh when people quote their vehicle calc d mpg…. Do it manually then it really means something. Probably 90+% of vehicle manufacturers electronic calculations are optimistic …. From 1/2 to 1 1/2 mpg.
Yep. The only reason that I posted my MPG was to show what was possible if you actually try to get good mileage.Scott, I understand that however one more variable is different driving styles.
Whatever makes each owner “happy” is what they should do. I only caution the unsuspecting who rely on others quotes/driving styles as factual.
I do the same thing. Saturday when my wife came home from work the mpg gauge was at 16.0, I drove it Sat night and Sunday midday and got it to 17.0.Yep. The only reason that I posted my MPG was to show what was possible if you actually try to get good mileage.
I'm wondering if it's a mistake, but I keep the fuel economy gauge up on mine most of the time when I'm not off road. For some reason I can't help but try for another 0.1 improvement. I would probably enjoy driving my Bronco more if I didn't know how much fuel it uses until I fill it up again, like with my Mustang.
