Cost me about $1500 to get it here to Santa Fe-

I'll second shopping around online and having it shipped.
I did it for the first time with the 2023 Badlands through Granger Ford.
Shipping was like $500 for me ( 7 hour drive) , but really removed all the hassle.
So , if you can get a great deal away from home, go for it.
(so long as you can still comply with whatever laws against doing that, that Kalifornia probably has)

Ugh. I got mine out of Detroit from Pat Miliken Ford at no ADM and no stupid add ons when everyone was charging 10-20k + 5k in paint protection. They are 5 miles or so from MAP, good dealer. Cost me about $1500 to get it here to Santa Fe- advertised prices are below MSRP, guessing they would come off that. PM me if you want her email.
I also got mine from (Jack at) Pat Milliken, and it was overall a good experience. I ordered it and had to wait 14 months, but no ADM or other BS. I did have a couple minor hiccups with my order (no headliner or modular bumper), but not the biggest deal overall. I'd recommend them OP!

Good news is USAA is offering me 17,000 more than what I still owe on the car.
Well, hopefully you didn't put $27,000 down!
LOL

Good luck, I got to drive mine less than 5 months before it was totaled, frame was bent 14". The guy who hit me had insurance (AAA) it still took 6 weeks of haggling. Found almost exact match in TX to replace mine.

he got cited for no insurance and driving without a physical license. They sober tested him as well. I looked him up online after, loser who has got caught stealing catalytic converters multiple times.
How dare you, he's just trying to feed his family and meth habit!

Hope you are recovering from all this, it sucks he did this to you.

Went through this exact scenario last August, it's such a bummer. Guy that rear ended me caused $8k worth of damage and had nothing but an expired ID card from El Salvador :cautious:

I'm always amazed how many times vehicles are reframed. Service frames are saved for 10-15 years after depending on the contract......who would reframe a 10 year old truck lol

good luck and glad the injuries are minor
I can tell you i personally see all kinds of discontinued parts AND frames on modern trucks well newer than 10 years old. discontinued truck beds also total trucks.

I can understand the sentiment but having had a heavily repaired vehicle after an accident you never feel the same about it. Weird crap starts failing and it becomes a monkey on your back. Admittedly this was back in the '80s when repair tech was more primative but that experience haunts me. Had one totaled from a car end hit like yours. Sucked and you almost always get screwed by insurance but it was one and done not years of WTF will fail next?

Just ask for payment in catalytic converters!!! I'm sure he is good for it.

I know some have mentioned a lawyer, but when your car is totaled the lawyers want a percentage of the entire sum you get. That ruins it. If it was just an injury then they can probably do better than us.
