Airbags deployed, those things are not gentle.

Damn it man! I hate these drivers in Atlanta, the absolute worst in the country and this is a country full of bad drivers!

Glad you’re ok and didn’t get hurt on top of all this.

We were just talking about heading to the mountains to wheel.

Hoping to not total. I have exactly what I want and was planning to keep it 10+ years. So fixed with a nice LoV check is what I want.

Sorry to see especialy since i have the exact same Bronco. Glad all ok. I would push insurance to total it since it will hurt your resell value and with demand so high and so many constraints on parts it will be a long time waiting on parts.

Turn the case number and claim work over to your insurance; that’s what you pay them for and they don’t miss any payments from you.

Hopefully they ll be prompt in getting your rig estimated and either fixed or give you a check so you can get a new/another vehicle!

Yeah, but I'm pretty far out of Atlanta. This was just above Buford.

And yeah, pretty annoying, I walked away. So that's the important thing.

Hopefully I'll be off road again soon and we can finally ride.

It was a Ram truck 4x4 so it was high. Tube step looked OK, but I wasn't crawling under it. I think his bumper caught the wheel and cut the tire.

My hope is its all sheet metal work and nothing underneath is hurt.

It's tough in those situations. The damage seems rather high up, can't tell if your side step was hit/bent. Maybe the guy was driving an SUV/pickup? Also odd the rear tire is flat, maybe it got shifted and broke the rim seal on body impact.

Sorry to hear that OP, and glad you are ok. I had a similar accident last year, when a young woman didn’t yield at a stoplight. My insurance had to payout. Basically replaced whole front left side. No frame damage but airbags deployed. Probably only going 35 mph. Good news, ford was able to fix it good as new. Took some time though. Hang in there

looks like the rim is broken in the rear, but the tire also looks cut. glad you're ok.
