356 Speedster Replica was a blast. Sadly sold it when kids came along. Sold it on eBay and shipped to Amsterdam.

I love the lines on that thing. Definitely a "movie" car.

The very first car you owned is always the most fun... you had independence.... mine was a 1957 wore out Ford fairlane....
I had the independence, unfortunately it came with a 1977 Buick Century land yacht. Yours was WAY cooler.:ROFLMAO:

Good call. I love my '09 987.2.

Is very fun. Better than the 993 I had. Can’t comment on the Bronco - still not taken delivery after >880 days. It is built now, finally, waiting for shipping.

I have to confess, for me it's not the Bronco. A Toyota MR2 almost cost me my wife...

When I was much younger, just after I'd paid off my student loans, I though "I should be able to have a fun car, too!" So I started shopping. The used 911 was a hoot, but too high maintenance. The Merc 450SL was too soft. I had a Sirocco and a second generation Accord. I had a Volvo 740 Turbo wagon, but "fun" eluded me. Until I drove a bright red, first gen MR2. It shrank to just the right size around me. Winter or summer I could put the back end exactly where I wanted it-4 wheel drifting, trail braking, 90 degree bends on the backroads at 60mph.

But buying the Toyota cost money we didn't really have, and my wife resented it. So, eventually I listened to reason and it was gone. I've had fun since: Audi 5000S Quattro, tuner MazdaSpeed 6, tuned Fusion, finally got my 911 2 years ago... But that little, 116 hp Toyota will always live on as the most fun!

Just got my Bronco Wildtrak 2 days ago! Will update my pic when dealer adds the accessories they forgot to install on and the weather clears up. Better than I imagined.

My old CTS-V was great, my Jeep in HS and College was a ball but my 1968 Camaro with 565 CI and 704 TRQ is the winner. Once I get the Bronco out in spring with doors off then I will reassess :- )

My first vehicle was an 81 Toyota 4x4 that I got new as a 16 yr old. That opened up a whole new world. Overtime I modified it to become the truck I had in my mind. I did things with that truck that should have never been done both good and bad. My second vehicle after that was an 88 mustang gt that I loved and babied for 5 years. I paid it off and was stolen that same month. I’d like to have both of these back. Since then I’ve had nice 4x4 trucks but not had an emotional attachment to them. My current 11 f150 fx4 I’m keeping forever to solve my truck needs.

I’m looking forward to the Bronco to fall in the category of my first two. The common thread with these is manual transmission and freedom. Bronco will be a lifer also.

For me it was my 2017 Subaru WRX STI. I had put about 6k into it, including coilovers, sway bars front and back, motor mounts, lower control arms, replaced all the bushings and generally rebuilt and stiffened up the rear end to get rid of the understeer. That car was amazing until I got hit by a Hyundai.

Bronco is fun for entirely different reasons but in terms of pure adrenaline rushing fun this car definitely took the win. Im sure there are plenty of cars that could handle like this that are way out of my price range, it certainly wasn't a super car, but that built suspension with the STI AWD system is hard to beat at anywhere near that price. Might buy another to compliment the bronco at some pointz but the new WRX's are meh, and they stopped making the STI unfortunately.

I've never seen a a '68 in that color. My buddy is a camaro guy and has a '68 in light blue and one that is dark blue. Man that green is a great looking vehicle.
